Any good counters to wizard rod 9-60 ball?

I lost to wizard rod a ton in a tournament the other day in the semifinals, so plz give me some good counters with the pieces I have 😭

Phoenix wing 9-60 GF
Bite Croc 3-60 LF
Shark Edge 3-60 LF
Chain incendio 5-60 HT (dented)
Unicorn sting 4-60 P
Talon Ptera 3-80 B (worn, making kinda aggressive yet still have good stamina)
Dran dagger 4-60 R
Tusk Mammoth 3-60 T
Knight shield 3-80 needle
talon ptera 3-60 or 5-60 LF
phoenix wing 9-60 or 5-60 P or R
I tried Phoenix 5-60 P and I lost horribly, and RKO used Phoenix 9-60 R (I think) and lost. I guess I’ll have to do some testing with Ptera
Your best bet is a Bit Burst IMO, so you would need something to hit it hard. That's what I do, while I see you don't have it I would recommend DranBuster! Or maybe Shark 5-60 LF/P/R. Also I would do Phoenix with 5-60 instead of 9-60

Agreed with Shark. They should definitely avoid using barrage and smash attacks since Rod is an absolute tank. Upper attack or One Hit KO is the way to go. SE 5-60LF or P is your best bet. R would be a good bit the main issue here is the fact that Rod tank those attacks well, so we have to have some solid stamina. The only thing else I could think of is using a PW 9-60B to counteract the Rod but I do not think it is heavier enough to take face off against it. For OHKO you definitely should use DB, for combos I have no idea what to put down here

I have had good luck in testings of Shark Elevate. I've found if you can reverse the rail and have Shark drop in from the top, either KOing out right or destabilizing Wizard and getting out of the way to avoid tilt Transfer and barely winning by stamina.
