how common is wear on the higher ratchets in the X series beys

I would assume wear would be higher on taller ratchets than lower ones, because the blade of the opponent is hitting it more often.

Wear on ratchets in general is quite rare from my experience. Remember that we are working with millimetres of height here

well, if you're specifically referring to Dagger Dran 4-60 Rush, 4-60 isn't a good ratchet for burst resistance anyway.

nope just the type of ratchet but if you were to maybe have the launcher flat or tilted just a bit it could not burst

grip the rip cord or string and launch at hard but not to hard just launch with enough power for the spin can last a bit longer and for the attack power to increases just a bit

I had some decent success with 0-80 and 7-80 as good 80 ratchets
