You might have heard of a bey named sphinx cowl in beyblade x. If you didn’t, you might not know what it is. Let me explain what sphinx cowl is and why its downfall was sad. Sphinx cowl is a defense beyblade. It was the first to have a 9 sided ratchet and had a bit called gear needle. People did find problems with it at first. The blade for sphinx cowl was pretty lightweight and was pretty easy to counter. 9-80 is a mediocre rachet, but people wondered by get this when a lower and better version of itself which was 9-60. Gear needle is anti the best, but not the worst either. The defense honestly was better than viper tail’s. But people thought “ why get this when there is better stuff?” It’s a decent collectors item but I still feel bad for it

I have always wondered why sphinx cowl was never used for attack, it was Dran buster before Dran buster. But think that phoenix wing might have come out with 9-60 first, according to the beyblade wiki (which, I believe is heavily fact-checked) phoenix wing released in December of 2023, and sphinx cowl released in February 2024

The only thing I will say that confused me personally is the word "downfall" maybe I'm being to picky but the definition of downfall is "a loss of power, prosperity, or status." It didn't exactly lose power since it was outclassed before it could gain any.
