I heard many good things about Begirados and got 2 Hasbro ones a few weeks ago. I tried to make combos for limited format (Begirados Gladiator W105/CH120/D125 RF) and standard format (Begirados^2 100 RF, Ifraid Begirados 100 RF). However, things got worse when I started hard launch, bank shot these combos: both didn’t have or very slow-build flower pattern and they go around very slowly. The limited one is even worse when the combo sticks onto the launcher or has a very weak spin after launch.
I have 2 theories for this problem:
I have 2 theories for this problem:
- Begirados’s horrendous weight distribution: Begirados is one, or not, the most unbalanced chrome wheel, and when it goes with the crystal wheel to play in limited, it’s just getting worse due to the crystal wheel’s lightweights.
- Launching techniques: I have looked at some of the posts and see that most of them recommended a sliding shot, not a normal bank shot. It could be because of the synchrome’s heavyweight, plus the unbalanced of the Begirados wheel. I also tried to bank with other synchrome combo (Pegasus Gryph S130 RF, Gryph Goreim SR200 RF) and their flower pattern are completely normal. Another thing I thought of is hard launching, which makes the Synchrome spin more, and against the friction of the RF (or I launch too hard which makes the RF slide instead of flowering).
