I really would like to participate in tournaments, but I've noticed that where I live there are only X tournaments. While I don't dislike X, I am concerned that with the ever-changing meta of this new system it won't be worth spending money on in order to have viable competitive combos. I really need advice on this, as I would be willing to give X a chance if it is worth my money.
[Answered] Is X worth spending money on? Answer: yes.
Generally, the beyblade meta shifts much slower than things like TCGs and is much less expensive to stay competitive in.

At least two of the current meta blades are each over a year old, if you're worried about the meta changing frequently; don't be. Because, uh... it's really not, lol.
