[Answered]  How does the TP (Trans Point) bit work?

I know how the thing works, but what is the mechanism?

On the shaft of the Bit, instead of one set of indents for the two white triangle points in the whole of a Ratchet to connect to, it has two with one being higher then the other and in battle (especially in Xtreme Dashes) the Bit will rotate which makes the height change. That the answer you were lookin for?

To build off on what Frisk has said, TP changes the height of a ratchet by +/-10. Ex. If you had a 3-70 ratchert, TP low mode would make it 3-60 and if it is on high mode then its 3-80. At the start of the round TP is in low mode but when it hits the X-treme rail, it allows the height gimmick to activate. Low mode is mainly for barrage attacks while high mode is for smash attacks. Hope this helps

In actuality it seems like high mode is the normal height, because TP’s bit is actually 1mm shorter than P to begin with (compare them side by side after taking them out from the beys). So the high mode on a 3-70 ratchet is actually 3-70, while the low mode is 3-60
