[Answered]  Anime vs Real life

Do the launches Hoji Konda uses in the anime work in real life?
As in
Forehand grip for control
Backhand Grip for speed
Seeing as I just got a launcher grip today, I don't see why not. From what I can understand, it naturally makes sense that ripping with your dominant hand would result in more power, while holding the launcher in your dominant hand would yield better control overall. I don't know how it would work in practice, but in theory it's actually a pretty solid concept for a launching strategy.
I’m talking about how you hold the winder

Um...? I don't know what you mean, and are you sure you don't mean Shu Kurenai? Hoji Konda doesn't have a special launch technique...

He held his long winder with his fingernails facing upwards for a backhand grip and facing downwards for a forehand launch
