Don't get me wrong, I think the show has a cool premise, but when you put it against all the other shows (yes, including the old ones), it just seems like a new version of the older beys and the characters do not stand out as much, especially the main cast. The beyblades are cool, and are changing he way that beyblade tournaments are seen, and the community is getting larger because of it, but if you were to put that show up against beyblade burst, it would be no competition, as to which one is more appealing.
Am I the only one that thinks the X Beyblade show is boring?

It's not completely boring, but there's definitely been a lot of points both in the larger story and with individual characters where they certainly could have taken things in more interesting directions, but played it too safe/goofy. I also think it feels too similar to the Burst anime, similar writing style, same animation style, etc so it doesn't feel like it has much of an identity of its own, if that makes sense?
Plastic Gen was the OG, obviously. Then the MFB anime came out, which was notably different from the Plastic Gen anime. Then the Burst anime came out, which was notably different from the MFB anime. Then the X anime came out, which... feels like more of the Burst anime. It's like... inoffensively mid, which is somehow worse than if it were just outright bad.
I started watching the Beyblade X anime and even though it may have some comparisons to the older series and similarities, I find it fun and interesting. I believe they are showcasing the Beyblade’s character rather than the characters’ character. But it also shows exciting moments when the sushi gets some promo from it.
I can relate. While Jaxon is unique (he never loses) and I don’t need to introduce bird kazami, it feels like a predicable pattern. In a battle, jaxon will always win or get a tie but never lose. While bird will always lose or tie but never win. It gives off “unique but predictable” vibes
