[4D] How good is Big Bang as an attacker?

Not good.

Combo used: MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF (Omnidirectional mode, as it exposes the gaps for same height matchups best, and Big Bang’s performance hitting down doesn’t noticeably improve in Upper attack mode)
Seeing as Big Bang behaves like a worse but big version of PHW Pegasis, I just stuck it on R145RF. It doesn’t benefit much from CH120 as it doesn’t really need to get under things and 145 height enables you to hit down versus as many opponents as possible, and the underside/lad is horrid on big bang that just choosing R145 for the weight is fine. Capricorn was chosen because it stops my big bang wheel from rattling.

Tests:

MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF vs MF-L Phantom (Stamina mode) Pegasis2 85MF (Phantom flat launched hard into stall first, Big Bang mixed launch flat and banked)
MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF: 6 wins (0 OS, 6 KO)
MF-L Phantom Pegasis2 85MF: 4 wins (3 OS, 1 KO)
Big Bang Win Rate: 60%
Notes: This win rate is higher for big bang in practice – if you just flat launch hard it wins vs phantom.

MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF vs MF-L Phantom (Stamina mode) Pegasis2 DF105WD
MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF: 9 wins (0 OS, 9 KO)
MF-L Phantom Pegasis2 85MF: 1 wins (1 OS, 0 KO)
Big Bang Win Rate: 90%
Notes: Big Bang EXCELS hitting down.

MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF vs MF-L Wing (0) Cancer 90CS (Wing mixed light launch and hard launch)
MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF: 7 wins (5 OS, 2 KO)
MF-L Wing Cancer 90CS: 3 wins (3 OS, 0 KO)
Big Bang Win Rate: 70%
Notes: Big Bang excels hitting down part 2 – it crushes LTDC.

MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF vs Death Aquario BGrin
MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF: 4 wins (0 OS, 6 KO)
Death Aquario BGrin: 6 wins (6 OS, 0 KO)
Big Bang Win Rate: 40%
Notes: Same height performance is somewhat lacking.

MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF vs L Drago Destroy SA165W2D (L Drago Destroy light launched)
MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF: 3 wins (0 OS, 3 KO)
L Drago Destroy SA165W2D: 7 wins (7 OS, 0 KO)
Big Bang Win Rate: 30%
Notes: Same height performance is somewhat lacking.

MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF vs Basalt Nemesis 230CS
MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF: 0 wins (0 OS, 0 KO)
Basalt Nemesis 230CS: 10 wins (9 OS, 1 KO)
Big Bang Win Rate: 0%
Notes: It can’t hit up, hence, you don’t stick it on CH120.

MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF vs MF-H Diablo Leone2 BD45R2F
MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF: 3 wins (1 OS, 2 KO)
MF-H Diablo Leone2: 7 wins (5 OS, 2 KO)
Big Bang Win Rate: 30%
Notes: The one OS by Big Bang was a fluke where BD145 scraped a ton – I doubt that will ever happen in an actual setting, and it definitely won’t vs a diablo on normal RF or on CS.

MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF vs MF Flash Cetus CH120(120)RF
MF-H Big Bang Capricorn R145RF: 2 wins (1 OS, 1 KO)
MF Flash Cetus CH120RF: 8 wins (3 OS, 5 KO)
Big Bang Win Rate: 20%
Notes: This one honestly feels like it’s more because of the R145 rather than anything else – I think CH120 vs CH120 Big Bang can hold its own vs Flash? But Big Bang wants the weight hitting down to whale on LTDC/SC I feel like. Fine, MAYBE you stick it on CH120.

In summary...yeah this is just not a good choice in 4D (for attack, anyways.) I have heard that it is apparently usable for Defense, but I have not been able to replicate this at all. The one test I ran it comparing to wing on 90CS, it got KO'd 6 more times than Wing did vs Flash.
