Hey Mid-Atlantic Bladers! Long time no see! I'm back from college and my Beys are itching to play. Now, with Arupaeo gone, our hotel tournaments are no longer a possibility, but luckily enough, Game On! Comics just across the Maryland border in Vienna, VA has offered to become our winter tournament host. This is a very exciting time for our area as this could possibly turn into something similar to what NC has at Game Theory. Team GO anyone? Anyways, I would love to see as much of the blader gang as possible and hopefully a few new faces as well. Now, as has become customary at my events, it's time to go big or go home. So, this time around, that means a limited tournament, a team tournament of either plastics or hms, and the format of my creation, tag team played in standard this time around.

To Learn How to play Limited go here: http://worldbeyblade.org/Forum-MFB-Limited-Discussion

To Learn How to play Team go here: http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Introduc...on-9-27-14

And here's the description of Tag Team:
2 v 2 matches, first team to win 5 rounds advances. This will be double elimination. Your partner will be randomly selected. The winning team will then play each other in one more 5/9 matchwith the blader taking the majority of rounds winning the stadium.

Now, let's move into the nitty gritty.

I need to ask Dark about this.

I'm praying to the Lord Almighty that he'll give me a spot if we can go.

Will Limited Format be played in teams?
I was not planning on it, but I could be persuaded into doing it. Definitely make the trip! I don't think you could get much closer of an event for you with the chance to play MD people.
Another Tournament that is far away not fair! DX
If the format for team was Standard then I would almost certainly go, I could more than likely bring some people from NC with me as well.
The only reason I made it Plastics/HMS was to give people the chance to not worry about Beypoints. I will have plenty of things for people to borrow and buy to compete though. However, interest could sway me.
I think that Team Limited, Team Standard, and Tag-Team Zero-G would be really, really cool (then again, I don't really like Plastics at all, and a lot of y'all do). As for the first two formats, if people are bringing their teams to compete anyway, we might as well jump on the chance to play Team Format twice in the same day.

No pressure to change it, but if you're looking for suggestions that would make my day.

As long as we can play Limited in Team Format, I can most likely go (as long as I'm given a spot on the team, that is).

Oh, and will the tag-team thing be played for points (I figured not, but you never know)?
Wish I still lived here... Then I would be confirmed, but nevertheless good luck! I'll call some friends and ask them if they can show up.

Unfortunately no points for tag team, although that would be really cool, I think keeping tag team as kind of a casual thing works best. It lets people just kind of screw around. If changing up the formats would drive participants up enough I could be persuaded though.
Yeah uh Confirm me.
I really hope I can make this. I'll let you know if I can.
If I were to come to make it, tournament would definitely have to be standard XD I can't go that far out just for limited. Also, when I say just for limited, I mean as the main event.
How would limited, then team standard, then plastics or Synchromes only for tag team work for people?
If you guys are thinking of doing Team format, why not make it an official one? BeyPoints will be processed of course.
Uwik, I think you're misunderstanding. We will be running three events, a regular tournament, an official team format tournament, and then a side-event of the tag team event we created in Maryland this past summer.
A flier in case anyone wants to help promote: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByIs86b...sp=sharing

Also looking for arguments for who I should take on under my team.
its unfortunate that i won't be in town when the tournament happens Dx I will still be out the country
Why is it everyone is confirming for this, but never for Sterling events which is very close by? Not to be rude, just out of curiousity?
Everyone is on maybes not confirmed.
Also, part of it might be my whole attitude of go big or go home on events. Additionally, this is being done as basically a MD tournament just outside of its usual place whereas your events in Sterling were attempting to create almost a separate community from the traditional MD and VA ones.

@stars do you have any idea for your team yet? I was guessing Sniper and geetster? Pending their coming I was hoping to put *Ginga* and Tech on mine.

furthermore, an exciting prize bank is building if you needed more reason to come on out

You got your wish
#1. who sets up a tournament 5 days before Christmas. problem Myself and fellow bladders will be on vacation visiting family for the holidays enjoying Christmas.
#2 If it were set up to a more reasonable time say a new year ultimate bash to start 2015 out right that would be more accommodating to most. hit me back when jan. comes around.
I'm a college kid back from college during that time frame. This is the only weekend that worked for me. If you want to step up and host a weekend that works for you you are more than welcome to. Also, please watch your tone, that post and your PM came across as somewhat rude.

Also, just to summarize the plan:
Limited
Team Standard
Plastics or HMS Tag Team
