True it is also like that in Chile (South america) for an example though the country is developing at a fast rate atm.

Well stupid school rules hmmm
No jackets allowdz. Even if it is like -20 C you can still not wear a jacket even though you can wear hats and so on.
You cannot bring your own meal you are forced to eat school lunch.
No juice is allowed in lesson but it seems like coffee is ok.
Oh and you have to give your ID card if you are going to play board tennis.

Well thats it i guess
At my old school there was no talking (no joke) at lunch and they inforced it until I got a petition started
No lie, at my school someone moved their chair and it squeaked, they then got sent out of lesson, then got sent the the headteacher and then got excluded for 3 weeks!
My school now wants to take away our 15 minute 'free' period and replace it with class. Oh, and if you are bringing something to the lost and found and you get caught, they say you stole it. And we can't wear bookbags. AT ALL.

vongola-Hibari: That cop must be that man who steals little children's bikes on his yard. He thinks the bikes are loitering.
Cant use bathroom during class. Only before/ after school. Not ever durin change time, its closed off.

Same here. And if we eat, or take any 'nuissance items' out, we get lunch detention.
Some school are just too fail.

Beyblade as weapons-Heck Yeh! They have fricken monsters popping out of them.
My Ray Unicorno will kill you! Anyway, anything is a weapon. Are they going to ban pencils next?

They replaced PE with spanish class at my school
oh ya in 5th grade(now in 6th) me and some guys got football and basketball banned from our school. oh ya i broke this rule once. really ridiculous but i regreted it. so when it rained we werent aloud to go on the patch of grass to get the ball. so i went to get the ball. i ended up face first in the mud plus in cackys. it sucked
This is a pretty swell rule in my school - Show up at 9AM and the doors to the entrance that 30% of the school uses will be locked. You're guided to the front entrance where teacher assistants, and youth workers will bring you to the attendance office to sign you in late before escorting you to class.

Because when you're late the best thing you want to do is have a personalized tour around the school.

Did I mention that class begins at 8:52 AM? Huge 8 minute window there.
The only rule in my school that bothers me is the no hats rule.
But it's a city or state rule, I forget which, so most teachers who aren't principals don't complain.
in my HS these were the rules

No hats

no cell phones on9good hated it when people texted in class but still)

and the kicker the dress code no logos OVER 3 x 3 not feet INCHES i mean really I was force to wear my solid shirts 3 times a week because 94% of my clothes had logos and back in 8th grad there was a temp rule saying tuck in your shirt....REALLY schools can be stupid they aint helping kids they are torturing them and the students and teachers are suffering
Oh the joys of going to a public school before the Columbine incident!

I wholly support no cell phones in school, though. When I was a substitute teacher, I confiscated every cell phone that came out of a pocket or purse in class. Told the kids they could pick 'em up after school.
my school gained a extra period we must walk with teachers in a silent lunch and eat the food even if you dont lije it we only have a 7 min recess and the extra period is math.
last year
recess and lunch were combined so 45 min recess you didnt need to got to lunch we had 7 periods.and im in middle school those are bad but other schools have had it 2.
We had 9 periods, but one was a 40 min. lunch and combined recess, so your school is now the same as my old middle school was (now in high school, so much better).
Not really rules but:
-No recess. AT ALL. (for all those people complaining about short recess)
-Two Regents + Three State Tests: No regents week Unhappy
I hate that we can`t make out in school. I `m only in ifth grade but I`m about to go to sixth grade.(school is almost over anyway) I know I almost never see kissing but some kids are always acting like they`re about to kiss each other. I wish they could just let people kiss! I`d loveeeeeee to see that in my school!Chocked_2 I meant that there would be a lot of schoolf news and gossip. I`m not a creep!
Uniforms, I DESPISE them.......I would love my school if it weren't for uniforms.

-oh no, the horror- Because that must be soo strict. Tired You're in 5th/6th/whatever grade, it's still too young. And what are you, a creeper? You want to watch people kiss in school? The school is correct there, you're 10 years old for god's sake.

..... Now that I think about it, I don't think I want to know... Chocked_2
the only rule at my school that is seriously stupid, we can't be in the hallways during lunch, except to go the washroom. it might not seem so bad, but we have to fit 200+ kids into one room
