Okay, following on from here:
http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Plastics...#pid974601
I did some testing on the Wolborg 4 thing. Only 10 rounds each because I didn't have that much time and it's really dull, but I did both wide defense and 10 balance with Tiger Defenser, War Lion, Wing Cross and Turtle Smasher.
I will try to do another 10 rounds of each some time, and update this post when I do, because this really needs it.
Equipment/Procedure:
Tornado Attack Stadium
Left Launcher (Second Ver), Right Launcher. Dragon Winders for both.
Customize Grip on each launcher, with rubber grips and nothing else.
Alternating Launches, Zombie Launches first Round One
Both launched Straight Shot.
Wolborg 4 EG discharged between rounds, and any buildup on tip cleaned.
Wolborg 4 Tip is used, somewhat rounded, and the EG isn't as smooth as a mint one - I keep my good one for tournaments, sorry.
KO's AND DRAWS NOT COUNTED, both re-done, but listed in detailed results.
As noted, Wing Cross is mold 2.
Here are the combos:
Wolborg 4 Combo (W)
AR: Tiger Defenser, War Lion, Wing Cross (Mold 2) or Smash Turtle
Weight Disk: Wide Defense or 10 Balance

First, I need to do more rounds.
Second: The winrates are lower than I expected, both because the opponent was stronger than I thought it would be (and when I worked this out I didn't want to repeat the tests I'd done), and second because I didn't wind the engine gear, which likely would have helped. Not 100% sure on that, but yeah, I'm surprised at how low they were. I assume it's because Defense Grip Base 2 has loads of LAD.
Third: 10 Balance got very close results to Wide Defense in almost all cases, however it had no draws or KO's. It is also slightly weaker defensively, though both are fairly solid against anything below customize grip base heights, though Ariel 2's tip and Grip Base are generally fast enough to KO it in Smash Setups, their winrate is definitely not 100%.
As for why they did so similarly here. Honestly, I'm still not sure, but MG WD, 10 Wide and 10 Heavy don't seem to do as well as 10 Balance.
Anyway what I can work out: For starters, the opponent I chose was too good so there's not as much room for variation. The physical cause, I think, is that 10 balance creates more room for the AR to hit the opponent from above and knock it downwards, while also having decent stamina. It doesn't totally make up for its lower stamina, but yeah.
That's basically all I can figure out, it's definitely odd that 10 balance does so well, but whatever.
Fourth: Wolborg 4 always won by pushing its opponent downwards so they could only make contact with it's bowl of death for an extended period of time.
So yeah, really need to do more rounds, but Wing Cross was convincingly better than the others.
Didn't test either Twin Horn because they aren't that good in right spin, tiger defenser would outperform them pretty easily.
I want to test:
Wing Upper
Sonokong Gold Tiger Defenser
Holy Despell+Gaia Dragoon G's big gear thing SAR.
Scissors Attacker (though as I said about the twin horns, it isn't as good in right spin)
Gyro AR
Maaaaybe Turtle Survivor
