One Piece

I prefer two pieces actually, shows more.
One Piece is carp awesome. It's also my favourite anime show. Loads of characters, most with great depth, full of epic fights and a great storyline, which also has its touching moments. The way the characters express themselves in certain situations, feels like they really mean it (unlike in some other anime shows), which is great.

The only thing I kinda don't like about One Piece is how at the end of an arc everyone turns out to still be alive, I mean, most characters you thought had died (see: Skypeia arc).

The Thriller Bark arc has just started in the anime; I heard it's been great so far in the manga. Does anyone follow it?

THIS A THOUSAND TIMES THIS(CAPTAIN KURO WTF)
Also, the art style is kinda funky, not exactly bad, but I wouldn't call it spectacular.

Pay more attention to the backgrounds in the manga. Oda puts a ton of work into them, and they're consistently spectacular. I love this series so much.

That's what I like about it. Their stories continue... it's actually quite cool how he can carry on two storylines at once.

I like that part about it too, it's just that almost everyone seems to comeback as if nothing happened to them when their supposed "deaths" felt so dramatic at the time, know what I mean? It's kinda anticlimatic.

I actually like the art style used for One Piece. Besides the nice backgrounds, the art style used for the characters, just seems to fit One Piece right. I've heard from people who can't stand it though, but at least it doesn't look like every other anime out there.

The music is also great throughout the series and really sets the mood for those epic moments, like when Luffy was saved by Shanks, Luffy using Gear Second for the first time or when he defeats Rob lucci using Jet Gatling, etc...

One piece is about "dreams": When their dreams are crushed, they "die". In other words, a person is made up of his purpose, ideals and so on; when he is forced to change this, in effect the person ends there.
this show is good I like Luffie or w/e you spell it cuz he has the power of the Gum Gum fruit and when he doesn't have his hat LOOK OUT!!!

Yes, like when it's the case of Luffy totally beating the carp out of one of his main opponents. While they do get beaten up badly, Luffy does not kill them and their ultimate punishment comes in the form of having their dreams crushed right there. I see the meaning working there and in other instances with certain important characters from a specific arc, but when it's those whom you've barely got any info from, it just feels less meaningful there.
Also, for the main characters, and I'm guessing most "good guys" in the show, their dreams only truly end when/if they die (which isn't the case with most we're talking about here).

Most of the time though, it's more because of the actual "wtf, how the hell are these guys still alive?" factor, rather than the meaning behind it all, because, really, this being an anime aside, how would these characters (who appear as being physicaly, etc, weaker when compared to the Strawhats, who already struggle to stay live in certain fights) have survived X event and then comeback, sometimes looking unscathed? That's what makes it feel kinda weird.

EDIT: Just watched 337, carp loling here. Brook is priceless, that "Yohohohoho!!" laugh and both his funny and serious voice suit the guy perfectly, haha.

I'm sure they get stronger. You know, like the reunion just after the lobby arc.

HE IS AWESOME.
Nightmare Luffy was carp badass. Too bad we don't get to see much of him. I thought his Storm attack on Oz could've looked better though...
Also, holy carp at that crushing Gigant Bazooka attack Luffy used in 373.

*SPOILER*

Oz's spine just shatered under all the pressure of Luffy's attack.
Now the final battle between Luffy and 1000 Shadow Moria starts.
Luffy punching that Celestial Dragon guy at the end of 396 was carp epic.
I personally think One Piece sucks. Tired
Bad chars, dont like the drawing at all, dont like the designs of the chars and dont like the story line...
Dont hate me its just my opinion...

Viz is gonna release like five volumes a month starting in January to June to start catching up to Japan. With some of the newest chapters from Japan being put in Shonen Jump USA. While the One Piece manga does better then the anime in the US, that isn't saying much. FUNimation wasted money getting One Piece.
They are? Well just because of Viz huh?

anyway, the episode where Luffy sends flying to Kuja tribe will be up 2 days later (from my country)

Think they will censor the Luffy part when he's in cell? (as in wear at least the undergarments)
I only watch One Piece via the DVD releases here, we're at I think Episode 65(?) now.
DVD. One Piece hasn't been on TV in Canada since the 4Kids dub floundered in like 2006. And FUNimation's dub was pulled from Cartoon Network in 2007 or 2008.
