Bull VS Geminos

For stamina combos, people usually use the lightest clear wheel available.
So I'm so bored that I tested this theory.
I used Bull and Geminos for actual test and Aquilia as control.
The test is solo spin and measure the spinning time.

Metal Wheel : Earth(2nd mold) from BB47 Earth Aquilia
Track : DF 145 form BB26 Geminos
Bottom : WD from BB47 Earth Aquilia
Stadium : MFB attack stadium
Launcher : Beylauncher without suspension

My stadium is a bit worn and there are a few dents in it so that will affect the stamina and the combos seems to have less stamina.

Earth Aquilia DF145WD
1 : 2'42"
2 : 2'35"
3 : 2'38"
4 : 2'34"
5 : 2'32"

Earth Bull DF145WD
1 : 2'59"
2 : 3'02"
3 : 3'00"
4 : 2'56"
5 : 2'56"

Earth Geminos DF145WD
1 : 2'21"
2 : 2'19"
3 : 2'28"
4 : 2'22"
5 : 2'29"

Analysis
When I launched the beyblades, they tend to circle around the stadium and make a wobbling sound, and they still produce some scratching sound after they rest in the middle. Maybe there is something wrong in my beyblades.

Some more tests are needed to be done that 2nd mold of earth(which is the best stamina wheel I got) is not a popular stamina wheel. And SD is a more popular track for stamina.

I'm pretty surprised by the result that bull is best among all 3. Maybe I will be using Earth Bull DF145WD as my best stamina combo.
This is truly interesting.
Since clear wheels have always been seen as just an aesthetic detail before, this is something that really is interesting. The point of different light wheels for different types has been raised before, yet it's always been shrugged off.
Could you try a variety of clear wheels on a defense combination as well, even if it's just for solo spin times?
I used Bull on a Stamina combo in one of the UK tournaments.....I was only using it for aesthetic and personal reasons, but it did perform pretty well. Wonder if this had anything to do with it? Would be interested to see more results, may do some testing myself at some point...

Clear Wheels.

I wonder if it is due to the weight in general, or the way it is distributed around the center.
Wow. This is some brow-raising stuff. As Kai-V questioned, maybe it's the distribution of the weight? More clear wheels may need to be tested...

Mistake, wrote clear wheels the second time ><.
And I personally think it's more to do with the shape and weight distribution over just the weight.
Might sound odd, but have you tried it with two different bull clear wheels?

Kind of how size plays a part on spin velocity? That's the only analogy I can make. Sorry if I'm misinterpreting your statement.
This to some degree, but also consider particular clear wheels shape, and in turn in a small part their air resistance.
Bull: two sloped, equally weighted halves
Aries: 3 spiky edged sections, with two being on the lower and one on the upper.
The weight distribution on it obviously isn't going to be as good.
I don't think Gemios clear wheel is good for stamina, only its weight is good, this clear wheel is better for balance.
If someone places a small weight (like a small piece of blue tack) on one end of the clear wheel on one side only, recording the solo spin time will show if the weight distribution has an effect, no? (i.e, by taking an extreme case as an example)

Or we just test most of the Clear Wheels, which already have diverse shapes.
Okay, I decided to test this as well. Bear with me, as I don't have the best selection of parts. Here are the parts I used:
Wheel: Earth (1st mold)
Track: 145
Bottom:WD
Launcher: MFB Light Launcher
Stadium: Hasbro Dragoon Hurricane
Yeah, I don't have ANY stadiums better than this. As for the other parts, I don't have SD or DF145, so these are the best I have. I used 3 different Clear Wheels; Leone, Wolf and Aquila (again, they're the only ones I have...). Going by the theory that the weight distribution affects the spin time, Leone should have the longest solo spin time. Here are the results, to be updated as I test.

Earth Leone 145WD:
Trial 1: 2 minutes 38 seconds
Trial 2: 2 minutes 52 seconds
Trial 3: 2 minutes 44 seconds
Trial 4: 2 minutes 54 seconds
Trial 5: 3 minutes 15 seconds Lips_sealed

Earth Wolf 145WD
Trial 1: 3 minutes 30 seconds
Trial 2: 3 minutes 29 seconds
Trial 3: 2 minutes 44 seconds
Trial 4: 2 minutes 50 seconds
Trial 5: 2 minutes 59 seconds

More tomorrow.

The results vary quite a lot. With plastic solo spin times I seem to be achieving consistent results; with a range of 5 seconds seperating max and min times for 9 repeat readings. I haven't done any MFB solo spin testing so I don't know for sure if the test is poor.
I also found this quite interesting so I did some tests -

Earth Bull DF145SD
1: 2:37
2: 2:33
3: 2:35
4: 2:32
5: 2:33

Earth Geminos DF145SD
1: 2:26
2: 2:26
3: 2:27
4: 2:32
5: 2:27

Earth Pisces DF145SD
1: 2:40
2: 2:34
3: 2:30
4: 2:40
5: 2:45

The Pisces results vary a little so I'm going to do a bit more testing with that, also want to test some other clear wheels. If you have any you want me to test, just let me know.

You clearly have reliable results from your testing. Would you enlighten us of the conditions; so that someone else could replicate and as a good example to people on how to conduct fair tests?
I use the MFB Attack stadium to do the tests in, and the SD bottom I used to do the tests hadn't been used before. I was also using the first mold of the Earth wheel.

Blitz your results are quite consistent.
This is very interesting. Looks like another layer of depth has just been added to the game.

I wanted to gently hint at posting the conditions without being rude or demandingJoyful_2

Yeah, I was actually thinking that as well, at least for the Wolf tests... I'll re-do the tests, although I didn't really notice that much of a difference in performance of the beyblade between trials (except the spin time, obviously).
I did some tests with two more clear wheels. All done in the MFB Attack stadium again, using the same DF145 track and SD bottom as I was using for the other tests I have done.

Earth Aries DF145SD
1: 2:25
2: 2:30
3: 2:25
4: 2:24
5: 2:24

Earth Virgo DF145SD
1: 2:19
2: 2:17
3: 2:25
4: 2:23
5: 2:21
One day after posting this topic, i tried using another DF145 on my Geminos and it did a 3'09".
So i think the results are a bit biased so i did another test.
This time I i used all the same bits of Earth Geminos DF145WD and try different fitting ways.
That is a bit similar to M145Q that in different position of Q the Beyplade will perform differently.

Clear Wheel : Geminos from BB56 Attack/Balance reshuffle set
Metal Wheel : Earth(2nd mold) from BB47 Earth Aquilia
Track : DF145 form BB26 Geminos
Bottom : WD from BB47 Earth Aquilia
Stadium : MFB attack stadium
Launcher : Beylauncher without suspension

In this test the WD is the part that will not rotate and the other parts will be flipped. And between shoots the face is loosened and retightened.
And again this is solo spin test.

track
| metal wheel
| | clear wheel
V V V
A A A 2'28 2'14 2'34

I did more test on BAA because it is very biased

I'm very surprised about the results because even with exact same parts the spinning times are different. I will test my other 2 DF145s to get a better result.
I also did some small testing with this. And by small I only meant 1 trial.
Burn Bull DF145SD - 5 minutes
Burn Gemios DF145SD - 2:59 minutes

To me, this is really shocking.

But now what am I gonna use for my defense clear wheel?
Haha.
Burn BULL DF145SF, SF with a result of 5 mins ?
Burn GEMIOS DF145SF,Gemios with a big difference !?

I think you should do a a small testing between them about 5 rounds, and calculate the average spinning time
