one thing, scale. no offence but the clear wheel's bigger than the metal wheel! anyway I like the design, but starblast also reminded me of sol. the tip is nice, and it looks very tall, which is good for real life occasions, but again that could just be the scale problems, anyway I still like it, and only 2 days to go!

STARBLAST QUASAR B: H

FACEBOLT- Quasar
The face depicts a Quasar; a very energetic and distant active galactic nucleus.

CLEAR WHEEL- Quasar
Weight- 3 grams
Quasar is a heavy, irregular clear wheel. It comes in various colors, which can be obtained randomly. It is shaped like a quasar, and also resembles the shape of the traditional Beigoma. Its weight makes it suitable for Defense and Stamina customs, but the irregular design mars its performance. It may still be used as a clear wheel for revealing the contact points of a few metal wheels. The main feature of Quasar is that it is compatible with both, Left Spin and Right Spin Metal Wheels.

METAL WHEEL- Starblast
Weight- 39 grams
Starblast is an extremely unique metal wheel. Starblastâ€™s original release is a pearl white color. Starblast represents a stellar explosion, which accounts for the numerous spikes, and white color. Starblastâ€™s uniqueness lies in the fact that it is made to counter low-height combos. A MFB equivalent of the legendary 8 spiker, it boasts decent smash. Starblast seems to have an attached core, which bears 8 spikes too. These 8 spikes lie below the original set of spikes, and are made to counter low height combos. They lie a little lower than the original set of spikes, resembling the normal mode of BD145. Starblast has got a lot of attack, but like Basalt, Starblast has a design which hinders its balance.
On top of the wheel, there are extremely small spike-like protrusions which represent the fragments of a star. The spikes hold resemblance to the spikes on BD145. This bad weight distribution could be put to use against low track combos, as it produces a â€˜Wobble Attackâ€™. As the bey wobbles, the spikes at the bottom make contact with the low track combos, producing a powerful attack. Unfortunately, when used on a low track, this wheel has scraping problems.

4D BOTTOM- B: H (Black Hole)
Weight- 15 grams
As the name implies, this 4D bottom represents a Black Hole. Surprisingly, its white colored. The 4D bottom has an interesting gimmick based on the weight of the metal wheel. Black Hole consists of a XB (Xtreme Ball) encasing a black colored HF bottom.
The opening up of a white colored XB to reveal a black HF signifies the death of a star.
That is, a huge, spherical star (XB) explodes and forms a Black Hole (HF).
The bottom consists of casings which open up due to centrifugal force. As the casings open up, they become parallel to the metal wheel, and act in a way similar to C145, except that the casings do not spin freely. XB is made out of Polyoxomethylene (POM) plastic, a type of plastic which significantly reduces the friction of the bottom with the stadium floor; aiding for smooth mode change. The mode change of Black Hole from XB to HF is weight based-
If the bottom is carrying an overall weight (Face+CW+MW) of-
33 grams and less, there is an immediate mode change from XB to HF.
34 grams-40grams, results in a mode change soon after the battle has commenced.
41 grams and more, results is no mode change, or a mode change towards the end.
To loosen the casings so that they may open, the bey needs to make harsh contact with the opposing bey. To open the casings of the light weight beys (33grams and less), contact with the stadium floor is enough. Its height equivalent is a 210 track.

OVERALL-
Starblast Quasar B: H is a decent purchase for everyone. Be it a competitive player or a collector, Starblast Quasar is promising. Starblast provides extremely powerful attack, and B: H has its uses. Low friction due to POM plastic accounts for great stamina, while HF gives decent attack. Though Quasarâ€™s uses are negligible, it is a part of high collective value, as it is released in various colors.

Well, Starblast Quasar is based completely on the theme- â€œDeath of a Starâ€. I have tried to make the parts useful, though they have a few flaws to them. As every maker wants his beys to sell a lot, he tries to make them useful or beautiful. As Quasar was a useless part, I made it a â€˜cosmetic partâ€™ by releasing it in various colors which may account as a â€˜business trick!â€™ I hope you all like it!
While making this bey, I was extremely upset about my bad drawing. Hence, I made this bey more analytical than beautiful. A LOT of time has been spent to check if everything works well or not. Iâ€™d give a brief acknowledgement here-

Well, thatâ€™s it! I hope everyone liked my bey, and hope it shall be considered at least. I am sorry as the circumstances here didnâ€™t allow me to complete my drawing. So, I hope that my drawing shall at least explain the concept of my bey. I know it might be a bit unclear, so Iâ€™ve posted it 2 days before the contest endsâ€¦ Actually I wanted to post my entry earlier, but as I said- It was tough to do everything due to LOADS of work from school.

Sam-Well, no it doesn't. I knew this question was coming. Well, the casings contain a spring at the top, which force the casings to open up. But, the bottom part has a locking system, similar to the ones of a plastic generation spin gear casings. You know how we get 2 parts(casings) which join to give us a spin gear? Its similar to that.

Do you know how these 2 casings encase the metal ring and that gear join together? Also, you might be knowing that these casings are loosely held, and if you drop it from a height, they get separated. In the same way, B: H opens up. Just that it is held in place by a spring.
Also, the opening mechanism may be compared to Bakugan's opening mechanism. The springs keep the XB is position once it opens up.
As I said in the Beywiki-style article, the bey needs to make harsh contact; either with the stadium floor, or with the opposing bey. This causes tension on the spring, and the casings open up, as while making contact, even the locking system gets loosened a bit.

super nova is a 4 mode'd metal wheel the designs based of of pieces of thermal burn and flame burn's side where "burn wheel" would be normally would be downsized slightly and filled in to add weight also the gashes from thermal would be widened and more prominent also slightly separated as part of the mode change the burn wheels side will be broken in to 4 with a space between for the metal frame and the core would consist of the points from flame would become skinner and longer as well as appose able and can be sided out as part of the mode change also the writing would change so it would say "S-NOVA frame. the mode change happens when dissembled and rotated in some direction like most 4d but unlike most 4d you must move the frames "contact points" for the last 2 mode changes and you have the option of having the frame in 3 places and still have no mode change placement is also guided on by the thermal's second point (the one in the middle) but is optional but desired effects are based appon original placement mode. first mode 1.beginning blast the frame has the points locked in to the area where the burn wheel is separated to allow for more defense and no gaps to increase defense when the cs tip is in use.2.star explosion: the frame is re positioned and the points stay the same causing for blunt edges for smash attack 3. energy reflector same as before only reposition the claws which ever direction the blade spins(yay spoilers) to provide smash attach and upper attack 4. gamma ray mode reposition the points same direction as spin this will allow for spin stealing and high defense

Face â€“ Martian

The face bolt depicts an alien being or creature from outer space known as a â€œMartianâ€. â€œMartiansâ€ are known to be the inhabitants of the 4th planet in the solar system, known as Mars, from which its name is derived. The design features a highly complex brain like structure and the planet Mars with eyes which is on its axis in the background. The emblem is tattooed in brown colour on a face bolt that is pearl red in colour. Since it is a 4D face bolt, it 0.1 grams heavier than the original ones.

Fusion wheel â€“ Martian

Martian is a left spin only part like Lightning, Meteo, and L â€“ Drago Destroy. Like Variares, the clear wheel is combined with the metal wheel. Martian basically consists two semi-circular prominences with two eyeball like structures protruding from the gaps between the semi - circular prominences which give breadth to its design. It bears some resemblance to the Vulcan fusion wheel as both of them have a similar shape. The fusion wheel is mostly covered with rubber, but due to its shape, it has some recoil.
The eyeball like structures depicts the eyes of a Martian. The rubber on the fusion wheel is coloured red and all the parts that are in red colour on the fusion wheel are covered with rubber. The rubber represents Mars as Mars is known as the red planet. This rubber on the fusion wheel is also used to describe the Beybladeâ€™s beastsâ€™ behaviour as parasitical as the rubber helps to spin steal and absorb hits successfully. Due to the fusion wheels heavy weight and ability to absorb hits successfully with low recoil, it can be utilized in top tier Defence customs such as Martian GB145/RA160 CS/RSF. However, as rubber produces high friction and can tear easily, the fusion wheel can receive heavy physical damage and the rubber can wear down easily and if used against thin fusion wheels such as Flame, it has high chances of being torn. So, it is fragile. Also, due to the high amount of friction produced by rubber, it loses quite a lot of stamina when in contact with another fusion wheel while spinning and while wobbling, any contact made with the stadium by the fusion wheel is risky, as there is high friction, predicting a perfect loss. Thus, it has very poor stamina. It is as good as basalt in terms of defence.

Spin Track â€“ Rubber Axis 160 (RA160)

RA160 is the first spin track with the 160 height. The 160 height is quite advantageous for defence types as it provides protection from 85/90/100 based attackers. RA160 is quite thin, with red rubber covering the middle portion. It provides good protection but very poor stamina due to high amount of friction created during contact. It depicts the axis on which Mars spins and the colour red on the rubber represents Mars as Mars is known as the red planet. It is great in unison with Martian as it exposes all the rubber on the Martian fusion wheel and itself.

Performance tip â€“ Cross Orbit (CO)

Cross Orbit has the form of a ball tip but is shaped two be like to orbits overlapping each other. Due to being made of metal, it has very little friction on the stadium floor. Also, the contact area is about the contact area of MS and so, the amount of friction produced is even lesser. The gaps in between the orbits help CO to have slight defensive capabilities but it excels in stamina. Due to the ball like shape, it doesnâ€™t have much balance problems. It outclasses WD in terms of stamina but is not better than EWD/PD. For defence, it is outclassed even by B.

Overall - Martian and RA160 are great together and provide great defence. CO is great for stamina and is a top tier stamina bottom. Martian wears down quickly and is fragile and for this reason, everybody should own multiples of this bey blade.

The metal wheel and PC frame have stylized flames and stars. The metal wheel has a slope for upper attack. As shown in the picture, turn the PC frame upside down to change between stamina mode and upper attack mode. When put into upper attack mode, the star designs from the PC frame and the metal wheel overlap.

The bottom has a gyroscope, which also spins like a generator. The gyroscope is mostly hollow but still gives the beyblade continuous stability. It has a mechanism where the gyroscope starts out locked. When the beyblade hits the ground, the mechanism causes the gyroscope part to unlock and allows the gyroscope to spin freely. This allows the spin from the launch to apply to the gyroscope when you launch the beyblade while also allowing the gyroscope to spin freely while in battle. The purple buttons let you reset the mechanism. The tip on the bottom is like wide defense and is plastic.

hhm, it's good and all, but vesperius reminds me of byxis alot, and I can't see the metal wheel working, it looks far too round.

umm no... first of all, do not pair shape and contours together. they're different.
and second, the shape is the same (almost a perfect circle) but yes, the contour is different... however making a beyblade similar to scythe or any other blade can GREATLY affect the chances of winning... MAIN THING of this contest is originality.... changing the contours doesn't count as being original... u can't "take someone's test paper, erase their name, place your name, change some answers to make it seem like your work, then call it your own". i'm not saying that's what he did... i'm just saying if it's similar to scythe, then that's gonna be a bit of an issue... we had someone a few pages back who made an entry that was VERYYYYY similar to beat lynx's metal wheel.... he wasn't disqualified but i'm pretty sure the chances are low because of the lack of originality with the entry....

The UFO clear wheel is a purple transparent colour that is shaped like the dome of a flying saucer. It has screw shaped patterns on it and is perfectly round.

The wheel wonder is perfectly round like the clear wheel UFO and is shaped like an upside down saucer, which is what a flying saucer would look like generally. Wonder is very thin and as a result is very light.

S230, or Suspension230 is a bright yellow colour that is shaped like an upside down 230, only wider. There is an image of a human being abducted by the UFO which is why the track looks like a beam of light. Suspension 230 has springs on it, which makes the bottom of the track where the tip is placed, spring and can bounce up and down. Although it is not mean to work like M145 by bouncing but, it does make the tip able to move from side to side.

Extreme wide defense is basically a wider version of WD. Although since it is wider than the bit that is used to screw it onto the track, it comes with two parts:

XWD, like SW145 has two parts that can be clicked together into place.
To put the tip on, the first part, is screwed on normally, and then the second part is clicked into place.

reason: Takes the longest to orbit the sun

The Face Despicts The God Pluto ( this is just like the other 4-D solar system beys)
the Face shows a War/Gladiator like Mask which is what Pluto would have worn to war
it also has the mask wearing the Cap of Invisability
which helped Pluto to sneak around
the 2 letters P and O stand for PlutO

The Shape of the Clear Wheel represents Ice Shards, to represent the temperature on Pluto, Ice Cold. the Colour is Black to show the colour of pluto that is seen with the naked eye
there are 2 stickers which have the writing "PLUTO"
like any 4D CW, it has Iron Powder, however the effect is negligible
The Pluto CW has no uses in Attack,Stamina or Defense
however is used with its Generic Metal Wheel

The PC frame Despicts 2 Crystals, the colour is a Slightly Dark Blue
the PC frame can be turned to put the MW Crystalis in 1 of the two modes (Stamina and Attack)
it is obviously made of PolyCarbonate

4-D Metal Wheel

The Metal Wheel Despicts the icy surface of Pluto
it is painted a Cyan/Light Teal colour
the metal wheel has 2 Major Contact points which are revealed when the PC frame is over the 2 Larger diamonds
the wheel Has Little recoil when in Stamina Mode
however is still overshadowd by Earth, Basalt and Scythe
however is still useful if over options are not available
it has also some uses in Attack

Stamina:
The PC Frame Covers the gap and reveals the 2 flat Diamonds to make the wheels Closely Circuler
In this mode it has little Recoil

Attack:
The PC frame reveals the 2 wide gaps which have Major Recoil and also Cover the 2 Flat diamonds, the PC Frame Slightly Reach out that the actual PC frame will slightly hit the over MW, causing somewhat Recoil
the MW can be used in attack Customs when Other Wheels Are Unavalible

Used in Stamina Custom
when the PC Frame covers the 2 gaps, it can be used in stamina customs when other Wheels Are Unavalible in the combo
Crystalis Pluto/Aquario AD145/85/230/TH170 WD/EDS/M:A ( Stamina Mode)
due to little recoil

Used in Attack Customs
when the 2 wide Gaps are Open the MW Crystalis can be used when other MW are not unavailable in the combo Crystalis Pluto CH120/S130/R145 RF/R2F/MF/XF (Attack Mode)
even if this is some what outclassed
it still provides the results needed

4-D Bottom

The 4D bottom Stands for Metal Absorber
a recent found theory Suggests that WD loses more spin than D or SD
when the WD starts wobbling, besides the fact it has more spin time
This Gets Rid of the problem
At First when the Bey Is shot
the 2 tabs on the Bottom push out due to centrifuge
a MWD (Metal Wide Defense) bottom is ejected which spins for a high spin time
however when the bey starts to lose centrifuge and gets to the point where WD is wobbling
the sides of the MWD are Retraced Revealing a MD (Metal Defense)
at the same time when the tabs are pushed in Due to centrifuge
2 wide rubber protrusions Pop out slightly Farther than the MW
which help with Spin Equalizing
Both Tips Are viable in stamina , both MWD and MD
however due to the Fixed Height and the Rubber Actually Under the MW
it has its Disadvantages
however it effectively works on LTS/D/AC and has the Highest Spin Time without Balance Issues.

this also Represents Pluto due to the fact Pluto takes the longest to orbit the sun
just like stamina spin for a long time

Used in Stamina Customs
Even though the Fix height and Rubber under MW
it still has 2 of the best Stamina tips
can be used in the combo Earth/Basalt Aquario/Bull M:A

The Bey itself has its disadvantages. However, it comes with the Best Stamina Bottom which can Equalize Effictiantly against Low Customs
and the MW can be used when other MW wheels are not abvalible for both Attack and Stamina
For Stamina alone, Every Blader Should Atleast Own One Of This Beyblade
