RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - Wombat - Aug. 07, 2019 (Aug. 06, 2019 6:16 PM)Ash_Ketchum_007 Wrote: I like the variety in these combos. What did the bearing combo beat? Can TT bearing be used in semi mobile attack? I really like the movement that stock phantom Orion has when it is tilt launched. Can the burst version of bearing have similar movement patterns? Also, I have seen people use the combo S2.G.Z, but I have never seen anyone use iron over zephyr in that combo and wondered why that was so. So, why did you use iron over zephyr? Thanks in advance for answering the questions! I didn't see the G2 Bearing match myself, but I think Ardmore Bladers judged it. It was probably against at least some moderately aggressive combo, because I remember being surprised that it won and asked to be sure shota hadn't accidentally been allowed to use the Hasbro Bearing. Because Classic Layers are so light compared to the Disks, and most of them don't have as strong teeth as Cho Z/GT Layers, there really isn't very many things that I could see TT Bearing being viable on (G2 being one of like 2 or 3 exceptions), especially not Attack types. Maybe with like a mint Valkyrie and Armed it could be salvageable but there are plenty of other Drivers that can fulfill a stationary Attack role much better than Bearing. I used Iron on that combo because it outclasses Zephyr, and the only time I didn't use it the first time around was because I didn't own it then. It has significantly more Stamina, and in my opinion is easier to control than Zephyr. Mine also happens to fit a lot more tightly with my S2 than my Zephyr does. RE: Winning Combinations at WBO Organized Play Events - kjrules17 - Aug. 07, 2019 I also used Spryzen S2 Gravity Iron and Zephyr at a previous Classic tournament hosted by Wombat and won both of the matches I used them in. But I got oofed by my low Buchholz value so I couldn't make Finals. Regardless, I'm looking forward to using S2.G.Ir next time.
