RE: Beyblade Burst GT (Gachi) - K1D - Mar. 11, 2019

Is there a price/a price estimate for the set?

RE: Beyblade Burst GT (Gachi) - IronFace879 - Mar. 11, 2019

Beyblade Burst Gachinko?
Okay, I kinda like that name a bit.

It translates from GT to ガチンコ looking at the symbols inside the G.

RE: Beyblade Burst GT (Gachi) - JavariTheChamp - Mar. 11, 2019

My price estimate is roughly 80-90 USD.May be able to find it a bit cheaper of 88powerpig88 if he even sells Beyblades anymore.

He still sells on eBay. I’ve bought a lot of stuff from him

Gachi/Gati is short for Gachinko/Gatinko.

RE: Beyblade Burst GT (Gachi) - brandbrick - Mar. 11, 2019

These look awesome! I don’t like the white on Ace Dragon that much though..

RE: Beyblade Burst GT (Gachi) - bigdaddyjoe - Mar. 11, 2019

BTW The "GT Layer System" is supposed to called the "Gachinko Layer System"

Loving Valkyrie, not sure on the Dragon...but will get them all eventually.

OMG. The only con to the system I can think of is left spin. They're gatchi base would have to be not compatible with the right spin gatchi bases for several reasons.

Theoretically, it would work fine. You could put a left spin GT chip in any base since the teeth and launcher hooks are attached to that. The only downside would be that the contact points would be extremely sharp, especially Slash, so I personally would understand if TT made left spin cores purposefully incompatible with most bases. We will see soon, in B-139, which is apparently supposed to be a left spin stamina type.

There is one reason why the right-spin bases will be completely incompatible with left-spin chips. The chips may have the teeth, but where is the ledge that the driver latches unto?

It’s also on the chip, which I already said above.

On a related note, I really finally think TT has its part system right this time. In MFB, the face bolt and spin track were really not that interesting or useful, and there was even no variation in the face bolt. In Burst, we have frames, which don’t do much else except provide LAD. Here we have parts of the layer that each have customisation that actually affects the whole in a major way. The GT Chip determines teeth strength, the Weight determines weight, and the base determines overall type, shape, and contact points. This time, it really doesn’t feel like any parts are unnecessary, unlike a lot of parts in the past. They even got rid of frames. It really seems like Beyblade is turning around for the better.

Slash valkyrie would have the point rotating twords the bey instead of away, think left spinning V2

So can Weights 2, 3, and 4 fit in anything or is there some kind of restriction?

No customization restrictions have been presented in Beyblade Burst GT as of right now, so the answer would be yes, they can fit anything.

RE: Beyblade Burst GT (Gachi) - IronFace879 - Mar. 12, 2019

While I think this may actually be a good start to the series, the Gachinko system pulses 10x more creativity to the beyblades’ layer as they can now be split into not only two parts, but three parts each, a layer weight, a bottom piece and a top piece altogether, creating vastly different combinations and enforcing beyblade wiki testing beyond maximum.

According to google translate which probably isn't too reliable. ?

That new launcher looks sort of like a string launcher, but it's clearly got a ripcord. Interesting.
