Definitely not the best animation we've seen though, just above average. As for actually story, besides Silas finally doing a thing not much happened at all.

Im actually glad Nothing Break didnt burst Dragon cause otherwise that would just be plain boring. Still Lui could win against Fafnir and Satan quite easily

To some people it will be the best, to some it won't.

Rip Dragon and Longinus episode 41. You Rage Longinus will always be the King Of Sparking in my heart. You Dragon even tho you always get tossed around are one might dragon.

As you can see it ain't bad but doesn't hold a candle to the best animated Burst battles, leading me to think its not a best animated battle.

You might get big mad about my post above but Dante's scenes were cool but can't hold a candle to best animated battles, one of his scenes were actually reused animation. Free's scenes with lightning are cool but special effects can really compare to actually animation. Lui did like nothing anyways.

Absorb Break would like to speak with Nothing Break.

Well I mean Luinor did stuff but Lui's animation wasn't over the top or cool, it was just normal.

Simple is good too ya know, makes it the more intense to know who'll end up winning. The way free was you knew he'd win anyways.

Silas' scene with him powering up with purple fire has no wear near as much dynamic animation or energy as Rantaro's. Free's scene with Nothing Break is cool but its not like incredible animation lol.

Nothing Break copied Absorb Breaks animation when Free faced off Phi and did Absorb Break in the 3rd round

Zone Counter is very obviously just a top tier scene, definitely one of the most iconic scenes in Surge period. Every other battle just eats episode 41 and poops it out into a toilet, like it can't even compare man.

I found the scene of free eyes really cool. Kinda reminds me of how he went up against Kyle.

Lui's scenes in ep 25 were actually some what similar, but way more menacing and actually super cool despite is body not actually moving around much. Dante's scenes were very fun and high energy topped off with some great animation, perfectly fitting his character.
