Host: The Supreme One

Time: As the tournament will start promptly at 1:45 PM, please plan to arrive around 1:00 PM when registration will begin. Registration will close at 1:30pm. If the participant cap has not been met at this time, waitlisted players will be offered a spot. Confirming your attendance on the WBO event page does not substitute for registration at the venue.

Prizes: TBD

LocationThis event will be held outdoors at Irving Square Park. Our  play area is circled in the image below. Entrances to the park are located at each corner of the park.

Other Information:
Please come prepared. It is helpful for both hosts and judges if all participants bring at least one Takara Tomy or Hasbro-manufactured Beyblade of their own and more than one launcher when possible. Additionally, parents of children under the age of 13 must be present for the duration of the event, as tournament end times can be difficult to estimate, and we would hate for someone to be left behind once it is over.

Be aware of your belongings. We'd advise users to please, please look after your stuff. While yes this is a Beyblade tournament and we're not suggesting that any of us would attempt to take each other's stuff it is still happening at a public venue where other people (who may not be so friendly) are going to be present as well. Of course, if you see a personal belonging lying around bring it up any of the judges so we can return it to the right person. Your co-operation is appreciated!

All players must arrive on-time. The tournament will begin no later than 1:45 PM and is expected to run for 2-3 hours, though if there is a large turnout it may take longer. Please plan accordingly. If you do not arrive at the scheduled start time, you risk being excluded from the tournament. The software we use to run our events–Challonge–does not allow us to add in extra participants once the tournament has started.

If you know in advance that you will be late, please post in this thread or contact someone at the event and depending on the circumstances we can perhaps still include you if we know you will arrive soon.

Wow! 13 RSVPs in one day Smile While it might be obvious to some, if you are attending, please note that this will be a Metal Fight Beyblade format tournament. That means that you must come prepared on the day of the tournament with at least one LEGAL MFB bey and launcher. While I can't speak for other players, I will not personally be loaning out spare beys this time around. Looking forward to seeing you all on the 19th ~
Can't wait to see you all
Is this really gonna be outside? the weather is gonna be around the 30s the whole afternoon with high winds.

Not worried about the temperature, but I will post an update tomorrow evening if it looks like the wind might be a concern. If we have to  postpone the tournament, hopefully we can reschedule it for the following day (MLK day).

A Monday tournament, how rare.

Yeah, but it is MLK day so it makes sense.
I'm bringing my 9 year old for his birthday. He's more proficient in burst evolution but I just bought him his first metal fusion T.T. I'm not so knowledgeable yet and may be some help. Hope that's okay.

That's fine. As long as he doesn't combine the F230 spin track with the Circle Flat or Gear Circle Flat tips (you'd know if you had either of them, and you probably don't) then as long as what you bought him is a valid TT or Hasbro bey, it'll be fine to participate with.

F230 + G/CF are the only Zero-G format part bans.

Oooh, that's right. There's actually a HECK of a lot of bans! Sorry for my mistake. https://docs.google.com/document/d/18nVK..._yr8/edit#
I can't stress enough that if you're going to bail on this tournament today, you need to let us know in the thread. Some of you registered to this tournament were registered also to the two Long Island tournaments yesterday but didn't show up. If you do it again today, well, I'm going to assess penalties.

And if you need to leave early? Make sure you tell the organizer why.

Also, this is a Metal Fight Limited tournament: Don't bring your Burst beys, bring your MFBs.
I will not be able to attend the tournament today
Still on as of now?
The tournament is still on! Thank you Isaiah & powerbladers for letting us know that you will be unable to attend.
Sorry guys, I can’t attend either...
