Team DayBreakers (Kei, JesseObre and The Boss) !


Surprisingly, Team GT did not even qualify for the finals, and it was Team Osu! and Team Yeti, both mostly Toronto-based, that were part of the finals. If I remember, Team Osu! technically came in second place, but nothing is awarded for that in the Team format from what I remember. We did Block Round Robin.



My personal record was 1-1, winning 3-0 against Leone19 but also losing 0-3 to someone in Team Osu!, hah. Not bad though. I was part of team "Anything" with DJ Alpha and Cye Kinomiya.

Team format really grew on me after today's tournament. My original plan for a team format was strictly tag teams, so pairs of Bladers, therefore seeing it turn out as teams of three was not as cool in my mind and I found some of the rules so-so, but everything was great in the end. Experiencing it makes all the difference, hah.


We really hope that not many people showed up at 5:00 PM because of Anime North's huge mistake in the program schedule. Apparently Beyblade was in their top three of questions people asked at the front desk, but we were not swarmed at all by a huge crowd of new members ...

Zankye was there too and apparently they are going to do a livestream tomorrow in which they will show footage of today's event, so make sure to watch out for his Sunday livestream on his YouTube channel !

Today was amazing, though I did only go 3-4, haha.

Even though my team and I didn't really get anything, 2nd place out of nine teams is quite an accomplishment!

I'm kind of aggravated about that tiebreaker match between Jesse and I in the finals though. Had of he went for a lighter metal wheel on his stamina combo, I probably would have got the win. But regardless, congrats to Team DayBreakers on the win!

Great time today. I'm pretty sure BeyBros ended up in 4th, which is really awesome. It was great seeing everyone and that Qualifier poster was a huge surprise! Hope everyone had a good time today, I know I sure did

Today was a great day guys it was fun meeting new people and I really hope to see all of u guys next year!! Btw I will be coming late tomorrow due to a Basketball game so wish me luck!!!

Won't be coming out tomorrow, however it was really great seeing you all, thanks a bunch for making the trip out here to Toronto! You guys were all great the last 2 days!

I was 2nd in the singles tournament on Friday and as a team we placed 4th today, so I'm really happy with the outcome! Great seeing all the NY, NC, SC, Montreal and every body else! Made a lot of new friends and I was extremely delighted! Huge congrats to the Daybreakers on their undefeated team format winning streak!

Good luck to everyone tomorrow, and you will definitely see me at Anime North next year!

Can I get a post with all the Teams and the placings?? It would help clarify a lot haha.

Yeah haha. I like to know who won so I can keep up to date on the champions . Congrats to the placers! Sad that Team GT didn't make it, but let's go underdogs! Winners were expected though right? Kei in the champion's spotlight for the first time since the Crusade! Congrats again to a successful Championship!

OMG my battle with wombat was the deciding match if team osu was going to get a chance in the tie breaker to get a win XD it was such a crazy match, i used my Libra TH170D against wombats Omega Horuseus and i had to get 3-0 to win, and as you can see by the results i pulled off the win You gotta belive in LIBRA LOL i honestly did not expect to win that match... Team Osu! had to face so many stressful tie breakers, but we kept saying we want to go to the dealers room and i think that worked as reverse psychology for us since we besically had to wait until the tourney ended to go because we didnt expect to move on at all... Anyway that was really fun and i hope to see more team format tourneys in the future!

Next year shall bbe different. Bbut thus event was really fun.

hey. Does anyone know if anyone from NYC is still in Canada with room for two in their car? apparently there is some rule that we had to be on our plane an hour before departure that we didn't know about. We missed that by 15 minutes and now they won't let us on the plane. We'll cover some of the gas.

Did you try switching the flight for a later time? I believe it is just a bit extra to do that.

Apparently it was the last flight so we aren't able to do that.

Hi everyone! I plan on posting a full weekend report sometime within the next couple days, but I wanted to first check-in and let everyone who attended know how thankful I am for them coming. I hope the past few days were just as incredible for you as they were for me (and hopefully not quite as hectic as mine were!).

We all come to play Beyblade, but every year what I remember most fondly are the people I've met and connected with, and the things we do together. So, my thanks go out to all of you. I hope to see all of you and more next year. You are what makes this community so great.

I had so much fun at this tournament! I got to meet a lot of bladers, even getting some to sign my "notebook". Good job to all the participants, and congrats to all of the placing teams! It was a very close battle between us and Team Daybreakers, but it ended up in our loss. Still, congratulations to them! I can't wait for next year!

On a side note, I found an extra Metal Stone Face Plastic Outer Ring in my bag. If it's anyone's, let me know so we can figure out someway to get it back,

Has anyone or did anyone come across a loose white Launcher Grip handle? Seems I've lost mine. I know I lent it out to several people over the weekend. I doubt it was stolen considering that the handle is kind of useless without the other part that holds the launcher ...
