I feel like majority of us have grown up through saying "let it rip" so it would make sense why we would like it.
Go shoot just sounds more cooler instead of let it rip.
When I think of let it rip you think of more kid stuff while go shoot sounds older.

I resent Let it rip being the catchphrase for it legitimately invites flatulence jokes That ruined the show as a kid. Every time someone said it on tv a person In the room farted and sometimes sh at their pants due to them not anticipating someone dropping the catch phrase but they still want to make the joke so they try too hard to time it and it goes wrong
Honestly they should have said Let it explode. Cause there are a bunch of explosions in beyblade
