Haha that's fine, feel free to roam around as well. You're welcome to come for a few free battles and then move on somewhere else. Joyful_3
Are all those that were previously interested still interested?

Rocky, hit me back when you get my PM, sorry about the rather late text I sent you yesterday, my apologise.

awwww yeah, nothing like RBV2's as prizes.
Does anybody know if we'll be on the map given out as you go in?
I would assume so if we're on the site. Not everything gets onto the site such as regular sellers. We are promoting a brand/toy.

Well that is good news. I am going to do something because I want to be useful so I am going to print that poster out that was made for this and give it to a shop that i am sure, will put it up. Smile
Does anybody know how we are going to handle the decorations?

EDIT: Hey I never knew about the poster...Please could I have a link? Smile
I'm going to get the pamphlet and poster printed professionally for the event. There SHOULD be posters up around Expo early Saturday. I just need Rocky to send over the pamphlet and to ask Brain at MCM if putting posters up is OK.

I SHOULD be able to make this Grin
I've got a friend who's interested in coming, although he's not registered with the WBA,
is he still okay to come ?
I'm buying the Hybrid wheel match set,
I've only just really got back into beyblade so I won't have much >..>
Would I still be okay to compete? ^..^;

Edit: Sorry, just re-read the part about bringing friends.
Hey guys,

I'm a freelance writer and I'll be attending the MCM Expo on both days (23rd and 24th) and while looking at the scheduled events I noticed this.

I have something to admit - I am familiar with the "Beyblade" title but I don't think I have ever seen an episode of the TV series so I really don't know what it's all about! :-D (consider me a total noob!)

I am only on Page 9 of http://worldbeyblade.org/Thread-Beyblade...ion?page=9 and have another 56 pages of that thread in order to be fully up to date with what's going on (although I still won't know anything about the game) and so far the first 9 pages have read like a rejected soap opera script! :-D

I wanted to comment here for a few reasons and first of all is to put some people's minds at ease. I attended the MCM Expo last October and if you haven't been to the event before I can confirm it will be absolutely packed for most of each day.
I'll have a magical Press Pass which will allow me to jump the line but I can also confirm that if you don't purchase your tickets in advance you can expect to wait around a while before you can enter.
Another thing I wanted to say is that, unlike what some people have suggested, it is very unlikely that the weather will be poor, and I really doubt it'll be cold (although don't quote me on that!) since the weather is normally pretty nice in London at the end of May.
I will also say that for those who have never been to the Expo before, because of the number of people packed into the hall, it will be very warm inside and I suggest you bring some bottled water with you (because the prices inside the building will be quite high)

Ok, this may be useful to those who will be attending for the first time, here's a link to the article I wrote last October, complete with lots of photos - http://www.teamteabag.com/2008/10/30/lon...expo-2008/

I am not sure how large you would like this tournament to be but if you think it would help (to at least get the word out) I'll write an article sometime this weekend and publish it on the TeamTeabag site. If that would be of some help I'll include any details I can find on this thread and that other one (unless the other thread is not required now) and try and get the word out.

I am not sure if I'll be able to spend much time, if any, at/around your table(s) but I 'might' be able to write an article on "Beyday" and whatever happens at the expo.
Speaking on behalf of everybody, your help would be greatly appreciated. Don't bother reading the rest of the thread you commented about. This is the ONLY relevant thread as the old thread was full of spam. If you need anything for the article in regards to info and images then just PM Bey Brad or Rocky as they have the majority of what you would be after.

I look forward to reading the article and hope to see you around the table(s).
What's the closest train station to the expo?
I've not actually ever been to london and I'm coming from manchester,
so I don't know which is the best to go to >..<

Hi, it's great that you're interested in what we are doing here! Thanks for the info Smile

I would advise you leave that old Spinoff thread be, seeing as it got derailed too much and ran into copious amounts of drama. Not a great source of info.

For any questions I believe the best people to get in contact would be Bey Brad (the admin of the site) as well as Rocky who is running the event.

Feel free to ask any questions that you may have, and I am sure some we will do our best to help.

Liverpool Street to Tower Hill, leave Tower Hill station and look for sign posts pointing out the DLR (Dockland Light Rail). The DLR will take you directly to Custom House Excel Center aka. Expo.

When I went to Expo in October, I got a Virgin train to London Euston, then got the Underground from there. Don't know if you have more choice from Manchester though.
I think the quickest route is Northern line south to Bank, then DLR to Custom House, which is right next to the location to Expo.

I may be wrong there though, feel free to correct me.
Ahhh O..O
That sounds expensive XD

You are spamming. Can you please stop it?

Giga, how old are you? Just tell them that this really means a lot to you and it's something that makes you happy.
