15. But my parents are overprotective psychos :\

I think most parents genuinely want their children to be happy, but their fear stops them.

Tell your parents that you know they're worried, but you will be fine. This is something that will make you happy and it's healthy to want to do something like this on your own. Tell them you'll keep in contact with them via phone for the day.
Also say that you have to grow up and do things on your own someday and that you want to start now.

Edit: Other wise, how will you ever learn to do things by yourself?

a spinning top tournament may not be the best evidence for this

I meant the travelling but yeah, that alone wouldn't be good enough.
Espio, Bryan actually requested we have some posters and jazz to make it look awesome. I would've done it anyways though. :3
Giga, I always though of you as older than fifteen. No idea why, just kinda did. ^^; Good luck with your parents.
Tiger.......I am talking to you now. XD

I will also say that for those who have never been to the Expo before, because of the number of people packed into the hall, it will be very warm inside and I suggest you bring some bottled water with you (because the prices inside the building will be quite high)

Also, thisthisthisthisthis. And if you're like me bring headache tablets (I always get dehydrated because I forget to eat/drink and then I get headaches). Other useful things: Money (duh), deoderant, sensible shoes, many thin layers so you can keep cool or stay warm if necessary, phone, hairbrush. Prolly a load of other junk too but those are important.
Definitely recommending the water, probably going to sound a little mental, but the air in there gets really dry in there. Really cool that the posters are getting professionally printed, hoping it's screen printed or lithographed.
On my phone doing this. It wont be screen, do you know how expensive that would be? This first person i contacted would do it digital print. Litho print you be expensive as well. Im going to try a few other places. Hopefully this other guy still has his printer. I got a lot of my college work printed by him at A1 size.
Digital is more than good enough, I just got all wishfully thinkingy.. Yes, I really 'thinkingy' is not a word, it's late and I really need some sleep. As for screen printing costs, depends entirely on the number you want done really, lithograph is probably the best balance between the two, but it's still considerably more expensive than digital printing.
Regardless of the price, I really don't think the quality difference will be that great/important here. It's a poster damn it, digital printing with a decent printer should be easily adequate. XD

I have managed to get in contact with my old friend who did prints for me when I was at college. I can get some good quality prints for the posters and the Bey Zone posters.

Going by what he said, it would be around £5 for A3 poster prints. So Dieddead, if you want a print for your portfolio then I would like £5 for the print.

What quantity does everybody want for the poster? I'm looking at around 14. 3 for the winners of the tournament, a few for indoors and around the stand. We would be looking at £70 for those. I could try and get it cheaper. He is going to ring me back in an hour or so with a quote, so if Brad could get the sandwich board design sent over to me then I will sort the bleed on that and will be able to get it printed at the same time which will reduce costs.

I will look at getting the pamphlet printed else where however.
That is crazy expense Chocked_2 I'll just use the A3 printer at university, £1 an A3 print.

I will be spending £40 on posters. Getting the pamphlets printed professionally will cost me £70 for 200. Any offers?

Rocky is going to print some pamphlets printed at her school. I'm sorting posters out. Anybody else want to pitch in on anything. This is turning out to be very expensive. Any donations from the UK community would be appreciated.
We could have leaflets for this shin dig after pulling in a favour. If need be, I will spend a bit more money on them. Rocky, myself and Blitz are putting everything into this to make it a success here in the UK. I hope to see a great turn out from the UK community. We will have pictures up on here and BeyUK as I will be buying a new camera.
Espio, you're professionalishness is a little scary sometimes. XD Thank you though. Joyful_3

I'm just a very mature person, tis all. I take anything that is important to myself, friends or a game that I love 100% serious. Sometimes it gets to a point where it stresses me out lol. 2 weeks to go people, lets hussle lol.

Rocky, if you still wanted to print some pamphlets then don't hold back. I'm still waiting on a call from my favour person. I would rather not mention until it happens.
I think I can relate to that. Joyful_3
Will definitely try to print some on Tuesday, maybe Monday.
I can get a load of these printed out at my school if you want me too - http://worldbeyblade.org/wbotournamentrecord.pdf

I've never seen those before. Those could come in handy when running the tournament as well =D.

As for the pamphlets, they people I have asked have agreed to print but I need to talk something over with Brad. They can print upto 1000 leaflets o.o.

I can get theese done at my home. No cost.
Won't cost me anything at school either, but yeh I don't have a printer at home so I was just suggesting we should print off a quite a few of those sheets somehow.
Blitz, print off as many as you like at your school. If we still need more then I can do a few copies here =D. Should hopefully get the posters printed next week =D. The same applies to the leaflets, assuming Brad gets back to me this weekend.
I can get people from my school to come were aloud to put like posters around the bulidings.

You will need to print the posters youself to stick around the school if you want to.
OK, I've just ordered the tickets. I should be a definite unless something bad/serious happens. See you there, only 13 days!
