just to point out, out of the 300 (I think) people there, I only met one person who seemed like he actually checked beywiki, and I don't think anybody had even customized their beyblades. I heard some people talking about how Earth Eagle's the strongest beyblade in the world besides Burn Fireblaze. Beyblade isn't dead, but most people are very ignorant about it. That, or they just don't know where to learn.
Yeah. I know what you mean...even here BBP and Galaxy Pegasis are considered to be the best and not Basalt...strange but true...so all thought that I would have won my tourney easier if I had used BBP instead of Basalt...well was it a tourney where only Hasbro beys were allowed?
I don't think anybody even knew what Hasbro and Takara-Tomy were, but all participants got WBBA facebolt stickers for some reason. The closest thing I saw to somebody knowing about TT and Hasbro was when one guy saw me holding MF-H Libra GB145 WB and he asked me if it was Infinity Libra or just plain Libra, and then he told me he thought Libra was banned. Besides that, I did see a kid with Hell Kerbecs, so it might not have mattered.
I wish I would have been there...even I want to compete in such bigger tourneys..I have never ever gone to any tourney before this so I really want to go to a big one like this...anyways which was the stadium and by whom was it held?

Oh and yes Nitro you also please try your best to get more members by October because that is the time when most of us will be free for beyblading and will also likely get passports too.
It was hosted by Funskool in a bookstore called Crossword, but I'm not sure what the stadium was called, but it had a large circular bulge in the center.
ya earth eagle was the best bey that could be used in that stadium sd or d had no chance until they wobble, when the bey wobbles with sd it spins around the bulge and there was little chance of winnin but with wd it spins round and round and had less friction from the stadium

and i dindt follow beywiki for costomization it was my own idea if i had followed i would have been knocked out in first round itself and not reached the semi-finals

so guys any ideas for tournament
Ohh so that is why...a bulge in sentre is not the standard stadium..and crossword is close to my house too so I wonder if they will be having a tourney as well
And yes...Hasbro seems to be hosting a tournament over here too...(In the name of "Funskool")..So ya thinking of battling with a TT blade in the tourney... Tongue_out

EDIT : I think you must be talking about the blue Pegasis Thunderwhip stadium..And yes if you were discussing about this, attack beys pretty much suck on it..Your only chance would be going ahead with a stamina combo(Not even sure if combos are allowed in this particular tournament :\)..
I hope there is one in Pune too. And in case it is over then I have no option but to cry for it...I really want to see where I am placed in Pune after winning my tourney with less than 1% of Pune's beybladers participating

EDIT: If anyone of you gets any information regarding any such tourney in Pune please tell me. And dragoonrocks from where did you come to know about the tourney? From the site or was it from some other source?

Enjoy the tournament, but I wasn't talking about the PTW, I'd know if it was one. This was somewhat as small as the TT Attack Stadium, but the area inside where the Tornado Ridge is supposed to be was basically somewhat like the flat surface of the Balance Stadium, along with some weird... bulges (I wish I could find a better word for it) going towards where the walls are, if I remember correctly. Along with that, I tried launching an RF combo (I don't suppose it matters which one) and I did a straight shot, but the layout (I'm not sure about what word I should use...) of the stadium pretty much automatically gave it the Sliding shot pattern.

I'd say just check the papers often for ads like "Let it Rip" and stuff. It should be in a paper exclusive to Pune/Maharashtra.

edit: Sorry, Sam10795, I just checked the site and I got this:
Events : Beyblade Event
Date : 28/5/2011
Location : Landmark, Pune

Just keep checking http://funskoolindia.com/events.php. I think it should have upcoming events for the month.
OK. Thanks for telling. And I checked FunSkool's schedule as well..they only have tourneys for Chennai and Bangalore...may not be for Pune cuz there is no FUnskool store here but I am not sure if they will have it in Landmark or no as they had one in Landmark almost 5-6 years back which I was unable to attend.(No one to drop me)
does any one exactly know when bey comp are in hyderabad ?
As gokurox said..check ur newspaper for advertises and also keep in touch with the Funskool events on the site of Funskool...and also be active on WBO.
sam i suggest u to not take risk use a wd or wb botom with 145 track beys
and keep spare parts important
and never ever use storm wheel or rock and not at al flame
use burn or earth wheels
One in New delhi,INDIA please

We don't go around hosting tournaments. We gather beybladers here. And if you want a tournament, I think NitroNeo posted something about it in the OP. Read it.
It wont automatically happen you have to work hard for it. And I think I will be using Basalt with DF145 WD in the tourney if allowed or else I'll take an LLD...it will help to spin steal and if it moves in sliding shot pattern then it can score good KOs also.

but dude sliding shots can be easily disturbed by a good defense type bey u must choose another combi for tourney
hey SAM10795,thanx for ur advise.
You are always welcome..and XLR8 Sliding shots work on almsot any bey except for the really heavy ones which will be usig MF-H and GB145 and Earth cant be considered as good when it comes to weight and blocking sliding shots. Also LLD's attack will be enough to overcome the defense if used with R2F. Or else I'll use WD tip with it so that it will spin steal with a better efiiciency

agree with u dude if i was in ur place i have also replied the same
well using a string launcher increases the speed of rotation.
it also makes sliding attack stronger.
Not in my case though..I have problems with it...anyways ...we are all going off-topic now..we better be back on topic...I think among all cities in India Pune,Mumbai and Bangalore are having most members but unfortunately very few of those are active on the WBO...so those who are in other cities I suggest you to follow NitroNeo's idea of taking demo tourneys and telling the participants to register on WBO(make sure u dont have a really bad tourney that spoils WBO's name if it is too bad then dont tell about WBO.) That should along with Funskool championship give us hope for more tourneys in India
that a nice idea i think i would do it cause i am the biggest fan so in hyderabad i am gonna strt a demo tourney
im thinking of hosting an unofficial tourney in thane for age group 8-16 in diwali vacation.....if i get my friends ready to help me then i wil make it bigger one for around 120 participants.....if it realy went successful we'l get large number of members.....this just a start..... hoping to organise evrything wellSmile
