Thats true right now prizes is my least concern it's the love of the sport that counts , i will have to bring a stadium too & i don't have any car so it is better for me to bring it to national park , bringing it via auto or bus or train is very risky for the stadium as it is plastic & might get broken & you may think taxi or auto is actually safe but the price of traveling by them would be too much & abhi has a car & he is ok bringing his stadium by car to borivali

& yes he said he might put some prizes so keep your hopes high , as first making the sport popular is my top priority

I agree wid ya nitroneo... prizes are not quite necessary, getting to participate in an OFFICIAL Beyblade tourney by WBO is so much more valuable than the prize!!! You see, we hardly see such things in India... It would be like 'Once in a blue moon' kinda thing! Also, we are awarded with Beypoints by the WBO (aren't we?) which is also like a prize!

For the guys who want prizes here are the non physical prizes you get

With one time entry fee of $5 i think -

WBO Beyrank , beypoints & faces depending on your win / lose in tournaments

With Passport valid for a year i think -

A Years access to any WBO Tourney [ is this around the world , i am asking this coz i once got a question somewhat like this , a guys wanted to know if he could participate in a tourney at mumbai , but he lived outside in another city ] , a years access to any WBO Online competition , you can get prizes for those + WBO Beyrank , beypoints & faces depending on your win / lose in tournaments

I Personally don't care if prizes are there or not coz i am going to buy a passport nomatter what

anyway mods i wanted to ask , do i have to give printed passports as a proof to the people who will buy the passports b4 the start of the tourney & is it allowed to pay the passport money or entry fee after the tournament is done , coz most of the people in india do not have the means to pay online & if it is allowed to pay the money after the tourney i will collect the money at the tourney & pay it via my paypal & give the mods a list of people who have paid for entry fee or passport

yup nitro that is the best idea and bear in mind that all the money collected goes to the WBO and also i will be SELLING takara and sonokong beys at the tournament, so plz come ready.i cant give a list yet but for sure ill be selling

Real beybladers wont care for the prize but what about those few who only come to the tournaments for a prize?
There are so many people like that in my area who asked me what the prize will be apart from the beypoints and faces. And the problem is these are the only people who will be participating in my tournament. So I decided to keep one of the season 2 beys from Takara Tomy as a prize so that they will have something to battle for.

Before, there was a member named preshant (he is still der but not active). My friends read the post of this multi millionaire ( as most of us thot he was one..) who had suggested i-pods for prizes and hence the result... But don't worry, you can keep prizes if you like, but its not necessary.... If you are doing this for your friends, then I suggest not to do it... Let them not participate....(hey, no hard feelings)

YES you are right...it is better to drop this topic. BTW I don't have many people participating that is why I kept a prize to get the participants number to be more than 8.

reason 2- parents wont allow(if I had beys and the day was sunday, it was easy to convince my parents..... I come to Borivli once a month, on a sunday, to meet my relatives)

14th & 16th of april are bank holidays so you can convince your parent to visit your relatives then or you can come with some of your friends who use official beys & maybe one of their parents can come with you , anyway please let them know anmol beys are not allowed only TT , SonoKong & Hasbro [ Funskool ] can be used

No way man, more than half of India's population (1 billion people) have computers.

I'm definitely not coming. also I don't think Chennai is going to have tournaments for a long time because all the guys my age who I know like beyblade don't want tournaments (I don't know why either) and the ones younger than me like launching their beyblades in at any time and most of them don't care about rules either
