HMS FORMAT

8:30 PM - Registration for GRAND BATTLE PRELUDE: Heavy Metal System
9:00 PM - GRAND BATTLE PRELUDE: Heavy Metal System

Mixing and matching the contemporary with the classic, kicking off the GRAND BATTLE TOURNAMENT 2 weekend is GRAND BATTLE PRELUDE: Metal Fight Beyblade (Standard Format) and GRAND BATTLE PRELUDE: HMS! These tournaments will be smaller than the championship the following day, but with qualifiers from across North America arriving in Toronto not long before this tournament starts, the competition will surely be fierce. If you're going to be at Anime North on Friday night, come join us for one final battle (or two!) until the main event!!

Why should I participate in all of these tournaments?
Besides how much fun it's going to be to play in every existing WBO Organized Play Format over one weekend ... as an added incentive to encourage everyone to participate in as many of these tournaments as possible, there will be added benefits to participating in any (or all!) of the tournaments at AN!:

”But I don’t have an HMS Beyblade for GRAND BATTLE PRELUDE: Heavy Metal System!”
No bey? No prob! If necessary, I will allow people to borrow one of my HMS Beyblades for their battles. Smile If anyone else attending can do the same for those in need, it would be appreciated!

Tournament registration will begin at around 5:30PM, but we will have the room starting from 5PM, so if anyone wishes to go early and free battle, please do so! And as always, the Credits, BeyPoints, Faces, and prizes will be awarded!

If you think you can make it, please post which tournament(s) you’ll be attending and I'll start building an attendance list!

Wow, I don't even know what to say right now. Kei, you did an amazing job setting this up!

Otherwise, I'm a possible for the Metal Fight tournament, and probably not going to go to the HMS one though.
Put me and Round Shell as possible.
How could I miss an AN HMS tourney?

You'll have to defend your 3rd Place at BND! title haha.

Are you gonna play in MFB too?
Sure, I'll likely play in all the tourneys that weekend. I doubt I'll get very far in the MFB ones though.
I'm all for it! Question: I saw that there are qualifiers in North Carolina, but when will the dates and location be up?
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS TO ME THERE ARE SO MANY EVENTS THAT WEEKEND I AM SO EXCITED I'M SO IN THIS METAL FIGHT TOURNAMENT ON FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And i might go to the hms tournament!

No need for the capital letters, haha.

I'm glad to see you there Bladery! I'm really excited as well! I'll probably make it to everyone, discluding Plastics and HMS.

Also, I'm starting to consider both Plastics and HMS. When these tournaments are processed, will Plastics and HMS be counted as well?
Put me in as maybe for the standard format c:
For Credits, they will count. I wonder what the prizes are for HMS Eee

We are very secretive.

For all you know it could be that wonderful Shining God MS, but I doubt it, haha.
I'm more interested in HMS and Plastics prizes than I am for anything else

I'm more interested in the Metal Fight Beyblade tournament prizes, just because I'm more big on MFB, rather than Plastics and HMS.

Does anybody who attended last years Beyblade Revoulution: The Insurgents, rememeber if there was any prizes that tournament? I just do think it be best to save them for the main event the day later.

But the biggest prize of all is actually being able to attend, and meet bladers that you've never met before, haha.

I'll help you!

This isn't the place to ask about that, but Dark_Mousy did post the "confirmed" date in the announcement thread. I'm just waiting for him to PM me with that confirmation and the other details before I put the thread up. That should be soon, I think!

For Faces and Credits they will be.

I haven't even thought about that yet, to be honest. We're spending enough money already on the main championship haha ...

Ok! I'll try my best to make it to both of them, but the chances are pretty slim though. I just didn't want to loose a carp ton of points for not being too big on Plastics and HMS, but I'm glad that's the case though. Unsmith
Why am I not in the possible list for the MFB tourney?

Kei hasn't updated the list yet.
Oh okay ._. I apologise
I'm confirmed now.

Confirmed nao.
I'll definitely need it. I think the last thing I bought was Scythe Kronos.
Confirm me and The Sponge for the Metal Fight one only and put us on possible for the HMS one please Smile
This is great! Both me and SamuraiDrago are confirmed for the MFB tournament as of now!
Sorry guys, probably not making this one.
