I hope there isn't another thread like this. Oh well.

Since it is now the holidays in Australia; I have been playing Kingdom Hearts again.
This is a thread for theories, discussions and the latest news or if you want to post a thought

Anyway, isn't it possible that Roxas just happened to look like Ven or is there a collection?

No! It can't be coincidence because when I played 358/2, Braig had seen Ven in the place of Xion. Xion is like a clone of Sora but based on his memories. Xion is able to project that.
Also, If im correct, When you visit Yen Sid in KH2, the book is based on Ven/Terra/Aqua. And Ven lost his memories or something like that.

I suppose since there isn't a thread for KH general, then this would be OK, but there is already a 358/2 thread.

Anyway, when you name people and things, please use the US naming conventions, because thats what everyone is familiar with.

Also, I don't know who Ven is, but I think it's safe to say he's not Sora's bro. That's not a plot point they would leave for 3 games, that's a major point. Of course, you could make the arguement that we never saw ALL of DI.

KH became way too convoluted after the first installment in the series for me to care anymore.

In Kingdom Hearts you beat up things and cool bosses, visit famous Disney movie locations and characters. It's really fun. The story on the other hand is awful, both in quality and convoluted-ness... and I'm a huge fan of Metal Gear games, which are known for pulling that kind of carp.

Ok, I have just had Deja Vu of this post. Anyways, Ven is the US name. If you don't know who he is, then I suggest you should look at Birth by Sleep. Also, what is DI?

SO the plot twists were horrible eh, Aw well, that is your opinion. It has a well thought out storyline and plot and the new games will be much better. So will KH3.

And if you haven't played FM then PLAY IT.

These guys are trying to talk about Kingdom Hearts but because it's not exactly what you want to talk about you are telling them to stop. Unfortunately, conversations are organic.

I'm not telling them to stop, if you have seen the above i haven't even told anyone to talk about a certain part of the game. I am waiting for a discussion on the cases but I'm not worrying or telling them to talk about a certain part of the game. I'm letting them talk about their own views or ideas.

We no nothing about KH3 so we can't say, all we know is that it might well be a full on war, keybearers vs heartless but there is no proof for that ever.

Well, I think it will be. Kingdom hearts - great. KH2- excellent and more smoothing. Com- Nice gameplay system! Grin 358/2 days- Greater than I imagined. KH3- ???

It's gonna be great. I know it will be. All, I know so far is that Sora will be back in KH3 but unfortunately, there may be more side stories (NOOO!!!!)

Just to let you know, you have missed two, one I couldn't care about at all which is Chain of Memories but there is also Birth by Sleep but then i don't know if that is out yet or what.

There is also Coded (No one plays games on a normal cellphone for longer then 5 minutes), Re:Chain Of Memories, and that other cellphone game.

KH-3 will be sora involved cos if u looked after the credits sora gets a letter from king mickey...and i aint played 358/2 days or birth by sleep, i hope ven is some connection to sora, altho tbh, when is a character not connected to sora in kh...and btw CoM is being made for ps2.

Uh yes, I haven't played Coded yet as it is only released in Japan so far, I've played RE:COM but haven't finished it yet and I haven't played any FMs yet.

NEWS for 2/7/09

- Nomura is busy with FFXIII Versus and Birth By Sleep, but is thinking about the next game's concept
- Next game is not necessarily KH3, but it won't be a side story but a main game
- Other than that, Nomura has been thinking about KH3.

-Is there a connection in 358/2 Days between Birth by Sleep and Coded?

Nomura: At the moment Coded does not have any connections with 358/2 Days, but Birth by Sleep is deeply linked. Birth by Sleep has connections to all the games in the series.

-As for Coded, Chapter 2 will be distributing.

Nomura: From Chapter 2, the story becomes progressively longer. The story of Chapter 1 had the nuance of a tutorial, but from Chapter 2 item synthesizing increases, and after a stage is cleared, other side quests become available. Since linkage with Avatar Kingdom also becomes full-scale, please look forward to it.

-How is the development status of Birth by Sleep?

Nomura: Its doing alright. You could say its becoming a confident title. Ive kept you waiting, but I think some new information will be sent out during summer. Since the plan is to present a trailer showing off the games fighting spirit at Tokyo Game Show, look forward to it.
