Super Smash Bros. Brawl

They give him the novelty of a fully alternate costume to make up for what a disgusting gangster-wannabe he is. I laugh at the fact that they gave him Mario colors though. Mario's got Wario colors and Luigi has Waluigi colors as well. XD
thank god there is no waluigi in smash

Raise your hand if you don't really care about this game anymore

*Raises hand*
sorry i'm still playing the carp out of my copy.

qft

I played melee for 7 years, so Brawl probably won't get old for me in the near future.

Well, you actually have people to play with so yeah... lol

For someone like me who has no one to play with locally and who can't stand the craptastic Nintendo online lag, I really don't have any reason to play the game anymore.

lame stuff
I'm signed up for two online tournaments and one local one, and that's just within the next month, let alone what's going to be happening at Anime North, Anime Expo, and whatever other conventions I'll be going to. I won't be putting this one away for a while.

lol tournaments

Should we leave this game to the serious players too, or is that only for Pokemon?
i swear tournaments kill the fun in games

unless it's mindless killing that's always great

I wouldn't go that far. I went to a big melee tournament in October and it was really fun.

I've found that the lag has been improving since it came out, most matches have little to know lag and if there is any it's only at the very start. Maybe thats just me though. The only problem I have is finding four people to battle to begin with, it takes quite a few minutes. It could be that it searches for the people closest to you, as the connection would probably be better, but who knows.
carp this game and its carp lag

fun locally but online is ballsssssss
Ominous Wrote:Lag has gotten better.

Roan, play with me. =3

Whereabouts do you live?

I've found that people closer to me generally have less laggy games. (I'm in Michigan, btw)
dude im probably one of the closest people to you

and we lag as much as old people trying to get it on

Depends how long that horse has been dead.

I'm into non-competitive Brawl as well; I play with items on from time to time. Hell, most of my YouTubed matches have items, but I've suffered too many humiliating losses both in Melee and Brawl because of items, which are mostly based on luck, I usually prefer to turn them off and leave a match wholly up to skill whenever possible.
I wouldn't even say it's mostly luck. It just adds a different dimension to how a match can be played. If you can adjust well (which is skill based), then you can work around items - how to get them, use them, and avoid the use from others. Usually I play without items, and in the past I used to share the same sentiment, but lately I've been neutral on the matter.

Roan, I live in Toronto. However, I played last night with two people from the West coast and suffered no lag. It was probably bad for you because you are probably trying to play during "peak" hours.

hahaha this is such a carp pathetic response, items are part of the game, this is basically like saying "wahhh i lost mario kart because someone shot a red shell at me"

Well that isn't too far away from me (I live about 20 minutes away from the Michigan/Canada border), so we should give it a shot.

Also Ichida, lol. Just lol.
I made a completely random stage in about 5 minutes and it turned out to be totally awesome when playing with three other people. It's crazy what you can come up with in the Stage Builder.
