According to that Japanese blogger, the Metal Wheels are just Killer, Thermal, Flame and Galaxy. What you think is a Mercury is probably just another Killer.

Well that sucks. I hope that Mercury gets a proper release since no one wants to use their painted mercury wheel. Mercury would have made the random booster worth getting for once. Oh well.

I keep writing this ... Is there such a thing as a Byxis ? No. The actual word is Pyxis, but TAKARA-TOMY clearly decided to use "Byxis" and they even wrote it in clear Roman letters on their site, "BYXIS".

This is exactly the same thing, I am very sure. It is Beafowl. The Japanese could have easily pronounced or written it as "pyxis", but no, they chose otherwise. It is the same situation here.

I think CW is Claw Wing? and EWD might be Eternal Wide Defence.

and i think this bey may have a useful part. EWD. ES seemed to have a form of blocking attacks but it couldn't back it up. but EWD should be able to work as a good Defence bottom thats not mad of rubber

well like i said, it couldn't back it up since it was part of the S series of bottoms. but try it. MF-H Earth Bull/pyxis R145 ES. im telling you it was pretty good in terms of defence, it just couldn't work with it. its because when the eternal part wasnt spinning, the blade would move more, but if its spinning in ur favor then it would kinda jolt. so i thought that jolt meant that the base was too small. so if it dont tilt as much on the WD, then it might have a chance, kinda like rock had some good stamina, but the recoil let it down. and wait...is WD not good for defence? the way u wrote it looks like that...

Bearing/brushing bottoms help to reduce the amount of spin lost when the Bey is hit. It does not "block" attacks or make them any more resistant to being knocked out.

Sharp tips like WD and ES don't have great defense because they have pointed tips, so there's not as much friction with the surface.

Yes. When a bey is hit, it will lose some stamina, but if a bearing bey gets hit the bottom will continue to spin without taking much damage.
