I'm glad to see BeyBlade is still quite popular, though I certainly have a bit of catch up to do with this series. I used to watch the original season way back in high school, along with Digimon Adventure, and always had fun doing so. The premise was goofy, but the spectrum of world toppling things in cartoons have covered everything from monster marbles in Bakugan to cards in Yu-Gi-Oh, so why not tops?
I have never owned any of the tops before, until last Wednesday; I picked up a Dark Wolf from Frys, mostly on impulse. I have heard it's not a great Bey to start with, weight and certain parts begin the reasons why, but I'm glad to have it as my first one.
I'm looking forward to getting more involved in this game as the weeks go by and getting to know more players of BeyBlade. Still, I am new to most of the technicals of this, so I'll have to learn as I go. For now, Auf Wiedersehen.
(I live in American. SouthWest Houston in fact. I just like adding something in German for introduction threads like these.)
