Huh, weird. Can you give me the link cuz I can't see it anywhere?
Edit: Nevermind, I found it. Thanks for pointing it out anyway.

Perhaps it’s just the language but I don’t think they established just how Ranzou is related to the other two Kiyama’s

They did say something about Kumicho (valt and Free). It must have been explained there

So, I'm speculating Ranzo's title (in the Kiyama fashion) is gonna be 'amigo'. It's not just his catchphrase, it also rhymes with Kumicho and Socho as well. Also rip awesome looking Glide we saw for the first time.

Ahh ok, well in that case, my guess is that Valt said something along the lines of “Kiyama? He must be related to Kumicho.”

Alright so:
The episode was alright, nothing too special but also not bad. Ranzo comes to Japan on plane as seen in the preview, and that leads us to another point: The guy seems to actually be Brazilian, or at least he grew up there, as he refers to himself by Western Name order (Ranzo Kiyama instead of Kiyama Ranzo). That is something I find interesting, in addition to Valt and Free mentioning Rantaro at some point when he shows Glide (but I think they were just pointing out that it was originally his Bey).
Now, Ranzo meets the Suiryus (please stop calling everyone an Amigo, Ranzo, I'll meme it if you don't) and recognizes Basara from his battle with Bell, then apparently asks them to lead him to Bell's mansion. Basara freaks out again when the lights go out there (because of course they do) and the three run away from some skeletons until they reach the Beystadium, then Bell appears and Ranzo straight up challenges him to a battle without even letting him complete his evil monologue (and I admit, I laughed a bit at that).
Now onto the battle itself: I honestly thought Ranzo would start with Cyclone since he saw the first match and all and I expected him to just go 'aight imma make myself one of these Beys too', but instead he starts with a recolored Glide, which is actually better than him getting Cyclone from the get go. My only problem with that however, is this: His first move in the battle is Mach frickin' Tornado. This kinda ruined the move for me as it doesn't seem so special anymore; it was supposed to be Rantaro's ultimate move and he just goes and does it at the very beginning, and of course it doesn't do carp to slow Belial down.
On the bright side tho, we get a second move from Belial AKA the Venture Shoot (Rush Shoot 6.0 y'all) and the animation of it clashing repeatedly with Ragnaruk is just awesome.
Anyway, Bell wins with Dynamite Bomber again and....breaks Glide. Dangit, just..dangit. This is the earliest instance of a Bey breaking in all of Burst (and possibly all of Beyblade), and while it doesn't really affect the plot that much I was still very shocked about it. Poor Ranzo, at least he'll make Cyclone next episode.
Speaking of next episode, we get a couple shots of Basara in the preview that make me think he'll upgrade his own Bey soon. Cool.
In the end, like I said, the episode is just okay, it has cool bits and a bit less annoying bits and is generally good. I'd give it a 7.5/10

I love how they're taking this slowly. Since the Dynamite system was created by Bell it would make zero sense for Ranzou to have it, but since they want to market the products I expected some lame excuse or just straight up not adressing it at all just like in every other season, so everyone still using Sparking is really nice.
Bell destroying Ranzou's bey (albeit it didn't seem like it was on purpose) and not even apologising? He's finally starting to look like a proper beyblade villain. It also shows the difference in power with Lui.
Also this episode was super funny, Hanna is probably my favourite girl character this series has ever had.

I'm impressed battle was pretty amazing for this early in this season it doesn't feel like the usual first few episode battle.
Seeing bell got shocked when ragnaruk breaks then pretend that he never shock was pretty interesting. I can see him being type of guy that is being soft and good but doesn't want it to be seen (yep my grammar is bad).

Reveiw time Amigo
I love Ranzo personality, he is a funny, calm and a laid back guy. I love when he says AMIGO, it's so funny and shows us what kind of person Ranzo is. The fact that Ranzo has a sparking bey makes sense cause first of all Bell neverd showed how to make a bey with the DB system and I don't think no knows exactly how to make it. The battle was good, I don't care that Glide broke, Venture shoot looks like it will a move like Rush shoot Z shoot and Dragon shoot. I love these shots with Valt and Free, shows that they are good friends and are good with each other. THe bttle was 8/10, and overall the episode was a 8/10, very good.

Imma take a comment from zankye's video cause he is talking facts
"Look at Bells face, when Ragnaruk got destroyed, he didnt wanted to destroy Ragnaruk and it looked like he was shocked too, but kept straight face to not show weakness, very interesting. I think hes not evil, it was just mistake and maybe now will some people in anime see him as a villain too."
RE: Beyblade Burst DB Episode #3 (April 9, 2021) - Requim - Apr. 09, 2021
Bell’s a good kid playing pretend I doubt he’s actually evil because he actually had a reaction to ragnarok breaking even if right after he went back to the whole demon king thing I think a good contrast to this would be if Rashad Goodman is Bella antagonist him pretending to be a good person but actually being a pretty mean guy when he’s inside a battle

That is true. And from the preview of the next episode we can even see him with Ranzo when the latter is making Cyclone, which means that he's probably helping with it. I think that would be his way of apologizing about what happened with Glide.

Exactly. Bell may try to intimidate people but he doesn’t go as far as intentionally shattering a bey. I think he’ll be Ranzo’s best AMIGO!!
