Depends If you wanna use a driver with no dash variant use the rubber trash thng it also dpends on the layer

Dash driver.
Dash driver means you can have a weight and burst resistance
Gen weights are rubber and they wear down + they can’t have weights

Let me explain why gen is better. With dash drivers you have a limited selection whereas with the gen weight you have way more Arsenal. Sure you may be loosing weight, but parts can make up for it.

Dash Driver no arguments. Gen is extremely light and weight is a pretty big factor in a good combo (KO Resistance and some attack combos to name a few)

you don't need to use a gen weight if you have a dash driver, and if you don't have a dash version of the driver your combo uses, a gen weight is to give it the same power, so they have the same use!

Well to be frank, Gen weight will be good for drivers with no dash variant, in sacrifice for weight, Dash drivers are also good but you can only have a few. So both are equally good

dash drivers can be used in any burst bey while the gen can only be used on GT layers
