Are you sure? Because he’s 14 in gt and Free is still in highschool in sparking since he’s 3 years older than Valt which means Valt couldn’t be 16. Are you sure he’s 17 in the manga? Was it mentioned somewhere.

According to the wiki, it has a 1 year gap apparently. Valt was 11 during Burst S1/God, Valt was 13 during Chozetsu, 14 during Gachi and 15 during Sparking.
