Beyblade Video Games? - Strider Xanthos - Apr. 24, 2019

To quote Opening 2 of YuGiOh VRAINS: "tell me!" what you think of the Beyblade video games? Were any of them good, meh, bad, carp, roster, bey options, gameplay, what you want to see in another Beyblade game in the future, etc.

(carp carp carp carap)

tbh the Nintendo Switch game is perfect. I prefer the language switched to Eng instead of Jp.

The roster looks great, but I'm a little surprised Evel and Akira weren't playable or had their beys lol.
Any other beyblade games you played?

So I've heard....but how does the gameplay/combat/battles work?

RE: Beyblade Video Games? - Jinbee - Apr. 29, 2019

I haven't played the Burst one on Switch because I still haven't bought a Switch, but that game looks fantastic and actually looks pretty fun.

But the ones I've played, I didn't like. The G-Revolution one on GBA had me button mashing the whole way through and got tiring, the V-Force Ultimate Jam on GBA was horrible with it's isometric view, including the way the D-Pad guided the beyblade. The Beyblade PS1 game put me to sleep. The Metal Fusion one was boring, and back then I mainly just wanted the beyblade itself.

But beyblade to me, isn't about the video games anyway, just about the toys.

The DS one. Haven't played the Wii as I never had a Wii at the time, but I really wanted that Counter Leone that came with it.

Lucky, I needed it for the DS Metal Masters so i could've finished the whole collection on that game, never got to own/unlock Mercury Anubis (they made it too complicated). I think Masters was better but the special move distribution amongst the beys were broken, especially Gemios and Striker/Unicorno.

Battle Fortress was fine but the game felt a bit too linear in terms of battles in the harder battles. The OCs were interesting, the plot definitely could've been integrated into the anime too, the customization is good, just couldn't 100% and playing the story mode's final boss is super hard the second time around.
