I think yes. You need select good combo Smile

RE: are slingshock beys any good in tournaments - SprigganNemesis - Mar. 27, 2019

Maybe in a hasbro only format, as my wonder valtryek has very good slopes

RE: are slingshock beys any good in tournaments - bladekid - Mar. 27, 2019

As a hasbro player, I can tell you that the unfortunate truth is not really. The best one is Hercules H4, but most TT stuff can beat it in stamina and even a lot of hasbro stuff can beat it. A good combo for H4 I like to use is H4.10/0/7L/C.Br, with lift, it has a very good opposite game and with cross it can still win opposite spin but is better in same spin. Though even still, I would just really recomend using the switchstrike stuff (besides things like K4 and Z4 which I don't really count as turbo).

The layers are at a disadvantage but some of the drivers have potential.

Vl-S was bad
Xt-S is amazing but with a bad spring
Yr-S is good with a weakish spring
Jl-S is the most aggressive driver out the box. Fully worn Variable might be faster
N-S isn't that good
S-S is good, not the best but still
Wd-S is amazing. It has amazing stamina in battle ring mode and stays on the Tornado ridge longer than Survive-S, Zephyr, and Accel. Not to mention the extreme burst resistance. Pair it with even average slopes and it will be hard to burst. I would say it is almost dash driver level.

The layers would be good in classic if they were not banned from that format.

But the drivers are an excellent addition to the Hasbro meta.

Also Kerbeus K4 is really amazing! If you saw Goob's video, K4 on bearing beat a stock Cho-Z Valkyrie. It should honestly be banned from any Hasbro only Metagame.

RE: are slingshock beys any good in tournaments - DeceasedCrab - Mar. 29, 2019

The slingshock layers, not really for most of them. There are some still viable Switchstrike layers, Balkesh B3 and Spryzen Requiem S3.

RE: are slingshock beys any good in tournaments - lilphilyb - Mar. 29, 2019

S4 0C Br is good too. It van defeat gK4.0S.Ds which is really powerful.

RE: are slingshock beys any good in tournaments - Ardmore Bladers - Mar. 30, 2019

Since I have very limited knowledge about hasbro beyblades, take my advice with a grain of salt, but I pretty sure that H4, S3, B3, and Guardian Kerbeus K4 are the only viable SwitchStrike layers, but I would say you should probably ask @[kjrules17] or @[bladekid] For much more accurate information,

Lol, I 5-0ed his combo in a video I made.

I acually got it. Thanks anyway.

Ill try to use S4.0C.Br to shreck that. It can defeat Cheetobladers gK4.0S.Ds

Hasbro S4.0C.Br vs hasbro dC3.7F.O
Salamander wins with 5 outspins
And yes I did do the battles.

I’m pretty sure that the dC3 combo was built to beat same spin opponents, just like Balkesh is built to beat opposite spin choz/ switchstrike layers.

I know, but not the hasbro one. It's hollow and has some of the worst stamina in the game

They are but it depends on what combos you use use vise leapored for a fast burst and archer for a sleep out battle

What do you mean? vL4 is not good for burst attack

But you did beat Bearing with Orbit in your video...? I’m confused now. I probably would have taken Atomic instead, or even Bearing for dC.

I ment in opposite spin. Orbit can beat Br same spin, but definitely not opposite spin. That is just how LAD works.

I still stand by the sentiment that MOST any bey can be good with the right combo.  S4 being left spin already has an advantage, just gotta find the right combo and right matchup.
