Wbo's deck rules - bblader/90 - Aug. 04, 2018

Hi! How do tournaments work? I mean, every blader MUST have 3 Beyblades with no repeated parts or UP TO 3 BEYBLADES  with no repeated parts?

RE: Wbo's deck rules - Silversylveon - Aug. 04, 2018

Deck format is only only used once you’ve reached the finals. Normally, when there are 8-16 people, you play round robin in the preliminaries before you get to the finals and deck format. In round robin, every blader battles every other blader in the tournament. In round robin it is first to 3 points that wins. KOs, bursts and spin finishes are all one point. You are only allowed one bey, you can use any parts, apart from G3 and Spryzen Requiem S3, and you are not allowed to mix drivers and layers of TT and Hasbro, for example if I use the Takara Tomy Spriggan Requiem, I have to use a Takara Tomy driver. Disks and frames are fine. In Swiss the rules are the same, but you only battle 5 people

In tournaments that play round robin, the top 4 will be allowed to continue to deck format and in Swiss the top 8 will be chosen. In deck format you don’t need 3 beys but you are allowed up to 3 beys in your deck. It is ideal to have 3 so you can counter as many different combos as possible. In deck format, you are not allowed repeated parts. For example, if I had the disc “8” on my legend spriggan, I would not be allowed to put another “8” on another bey in my deck. It is the same thing with layers, discs, frames and drivers. In deck format, it is first to 5 points. KO’s and Bursts are 2 points and self bursts, self KOs and spin finishes are 1 point. When you have assembled your deck, you will face away from your opponent and choose your first bey in secret. After you play one round the loser has to options: to stick or switch. Sticking means forcing a rematch between to same beys you battled and switching means the winner will have to choose their bey again, but this time they have to show you what they are using first so you can hopefully counter what they are using. They are allowed to choose the same bey they just used. This continues until someone reaches 5 points

Hope this helped Smile

So, a blader can go through a whole tournament with just a bey (still very difficult, though). Wow, that HELPED A LOT! Do wbo rules work like that for every single different gen tournament (plastics, HMS, Mfb, Mfb LTD format)?
Btw, Bloody Longinus is one of the best counters for hell salamander. Do you think bL/7v/x could work?

Wow, that HELPED A LOT! Thanks sylveon (btw, Pokémon still rule after 20 years)! Even if my favorite Eevee's evolution is Vaporeon Smile

Addin to the point in Synchrome Beys, Chrome wheels can be repeated within the same combo.

Also- Metal god chip and level are allowed once a Deck, for example my current deck-
LC zA.0U.ds
mgc dF 4 O
nL G V

Beys which cannot use a god chip or level chip cannot follow this rule

Yes, single layers and dual layers are unable to equip god chips. However, there are some exceptions in god layers, like lS, Sr, and nL which do not have removable god chips.

RE: Wbo's deck rules - bblader/90 - Aug. 05, 2018

So, a blader could actually attend at every wbo tournament and go through the whole event even if he's got only one bey? I know it would be very hard to reach the finals if you have only 1 combo instead or 2-3, but still...

RE: Wbo's deck rules - Silversylveon - Aug. 05, 2018

It could be achieved I suppose, but it’s pretty much impossible unless you have some serverly OP combo that beats everything and has no weaknesses

Wow, even if it belongs to the god system, sR is too strong for the others of the same category. It's almost (if not more than a few cho-z) as powerful as they are, that's a winning machine!!!!

Yeah it doesn't say that.

"Choose Launcher(s): Choose up to three launchers (one launcher per combo) for the match."

Which part are you having trouble with?

Also this thread was dormant for close to 4 years, so don't post in it.

Sure. Just try not to do that if your deck has beys of two different spin directions. If you have a left spin and a right spin bey in the same deck, then bring at least two launchers. Do you know how annoying it is when people bring one launcher and change the spin direction many times during a deck match? Very Annoying. Extremely Annoying. Don't do that.

The WBO themselves do not host the tournaments the people do, so if someone in Pakistan gets organizer role then they can host a tournament
