RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - TimelessOne - Aug. 05, 2011 Not you.I didn't quote your post. Come to think of it, both of my Beylaunchers are extremely frayed... If I ever get one that isn't frayed, I'll put up some more results. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Slee - Aug. 07, 2011 I found out that in the US, The triple pegasus set that comes with a beylauncher is a target exclusive. I didn't buy it, but I probably should have, as it was a good chance to get a new RF, pegasis 2, and beylauncher. I picked one up on Friday. Check out my unboxing on Youtube. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - bumpyfelon - Aug. 07, 2011 Is the string long like the metallic one? For Hasbro, I mean. When you think about it, 17 seconds isn't a lot...but then again, it is. It's not just the how man revolutions it makes; you also have to account for the strength of the pull. The faster or harder you pull, the faster the revolutions go and the longer the spin time. You also have to account for small things like dust particles on the stadium, friction, air movement in the location, if the stadium vibrates when a top is on it. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Annoying-Fork - Aug. 07, 2011 You think Kai-V doesn't already have an idea of what makes a powerful launch? EDIT: Sorry if I misread that post, I just sensed some sarcasm there.... RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Temporal - Aug. 07, 2011 Resistance is important too. If it scrapes, the launch won't be as good. Well, this is an okay release, I guess. What part of my post were you actually referring to ? Because if you actually ever tried a Digital Power Launcher yourself, then you would know that what you wrote has absolutely nothing to do with that. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Temporal - Aug. 08, 2011 Referring to the Hell Kerbecs part, maybe? He might be explaining why HK may not have done well in solo-spin. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - BeybladeStation - Aug. 08, 2011 That wouldn't make the hugest difference, in either mode. No announces of Meteo's official release, even though we know that it's a' coming. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Temporal - Aug. 08, 2011 Agh. I wouldn't be surprised if they waited until the anime starts. Though I want a Meteo L-Drago. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - DynaZord - Aug. 08, 2011 Technically, the release of MLD has already arrived, in the TBS. But I know you mean the starter, and I'd agree with Temporal. Maybe near the release of the dub. More than likely Wave 3. It's just sad that they've released some of the later beys (Twisted Tempo) early, before the launch of the dub. Oh well, I think we've all heard enough of that last part. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Temporal - Aug. 08, 2011 Hey, I'm happy. I needed that Gravity (Or, I did until I got RBV7, at least...), and Basalt is tops on my list. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Shadowhaunter - Aug. 08, 2011 (Aug. 08, 2011 3:02 AM)Temporal Wrote: Referring to the Hell Kerbecs part, maybe? He might be explaining why HK may not have done well in solo-spin. Yes It doesn't matter what launcher you use if you pull it slowly or poorly you will get poor results. Human beings are unable to do the same action over and over accurately to compose a good test; like hell kerbecs in the example I was talking about. It isn't just the launcher that affects the top its small simple variables. Also Kai-V I don't mean to sound rude but why jump to conclusions so fast with out viewing my statement from both sides of the story. Edit: By both sides I meant when you state "you should of had a higher SST". You can't just factor in "oh I have a DPL and it spun for a short time so it's only the launcher". There is other things you factor in when testing something, yes I'm repeating myself; if HK has a great spin time according to your hypothesis then find the factors that caused it to perform poorly besides the short rip cord to the DPL. I promise to you after you fix the errors and have a controlled environment then your spin time will be different. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Aug. 08, 2011 Yep, same here. At least two of the best wheels in the current metagame are being released early, rather than taking forever. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - DynaZord - Aug. 08, 2011 But still, for being the last MFB Explosion bey released by Takara Tomy, you'd think Hasbro would release it in the last wave, correct? Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that it is released early, but still. My reply to your current comment has been added as an edit to my previous statement. I'm just suggesting doing a retest and have a controlled environment., small factors can affect the performance of anything; it's as you stated before "even non top-tier beys can still have a shot at winning". Since all bey blades are mass produced each part is is the same but some may have flaws that affect the SST then others. Were the parts you used, used? Were is there some wear, or ruggedness to the plastic tip? So on so forth. Do not question it, lest you wish to jinx us and have Hasbro go back to their normal form of stupid. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Kai-V - Aug. 08, 2011 It is not for our benefit, because they are killing the game and the interest surrounding it by releasing everything way too early, leaving nothing way too soon. We'll be left with nothing but useless items for Raigeko to rage upon to fill in the gap of the last MM wave and the Hasbro 4D series. RE: BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion/Metal Masters [HOBBY] - Raigeko13 - Aug. 08, 2011 Let the hate flow... But yes, it is in our disadvantage. It would've been great, had they released it in maybe October, around the airing time of the show, however, since we can all mutually agree Hasbro does "waves" to an extent, and this could still work until early/spring next year if they release these "waves" slow. |
