RE: Beyblade Burst ASIA Championship 2018 - TL14 - Feb. 25, 2018 With all of these national championships the chances for a world championship are increasing. I really hope there's no age limit if there's ever going to be a Burst Championship in Germany. RE: Beyblade Burst ASIA Championship 2018 - Kei - Feb. 26, 2018 Awesome! Wish I was going to Japan for this. For the Philippines event, it mentions a "Senior" category for the main event. Does anyone know what exactly that event entailed? Is there going to be a "Senior" category in addition to the "Junior" category for the Asia Championship? edit: Also just added a bit more description to the thread title. RE: Beyblade Burst ASIA Championship 2018 [03/31/18 - Tokyo, Japan] - FIREFIRE CPB - Feb. 26, 2018 I REALLLLLLLLLY hope India will be part of this. It would be like my dream comes true RE: Beyblade Burst ASIA Championship 2018 [03/31/18 - Tokyo, Japan] - GemiosBlader10 - Feb. 26, 2018 (Feb. 26, 2018 2:48 AM)Kei Wrote: For the Philippines event, it mentions a "Senior" category for the main event. Sadly it was just like a G4 tournament in Japan. The Asia Championship will only have the main category which is 7 years old to 12 years old by April 1st. However the prizes were pretty neat, 1st to 3rd place from all categories will receive a complete set of gold (1st), silver (2nd), bronze (3rd) launcher set ups (light launcher and launcher grip) with an exclusive bey (wasn't able to take a peak on what the bey was, but most of them were a black Spriggan S1 and gun metal ver. of Storm Spriggan) PHILIPPINE QUALIFIERS RESULTS (MAIN CATEGORY) 1ST PLACE - Lei 2ND PLACE - Edrick 3RD PLACE - Eugene 4TH PLACE - Magnus LEI AND EDRICK WILL BE THE 2 PH REPRESENTATIVES FOR THE ASIA CHAMPIONSHIPS Fun fact: Lei and Magnus are part of the Thunderground Beyblade League, a team of Bladers here in the Philippines. Nice! Do you know what sort of combos did well throughout the event? Do you know what sort of combos did well throughout the event? Due to having only select pre-dual/dual layer system here, the combos were a bit easy to build since we were provided with less options but with more competitive uses. I believe Magnus and Lei mostly used Revolve and Orbit-based combos on three specific layers: K2, A2 and L2. Other combos (mostly from the Senior category) were Driger S, W1, Z2, V2 and X2-based. With the drivers varying from Orbit, Revolve, Xtreme, Trans, Hold. Bladers here usually depend on the stock combo only, it was a bit easy to make your way to the top if you know how parts work. The only challenge was if you mislaunch it or if your opponent has a better mold. A friend of mine got knocked out off the eliminations by a stock Dranzer S and Dragoon S. Bummer. Yes this is an official international tournament RE: Beyblade Burst ASIA Championship 2018 [03/31/18 - Tokyo, Japan] - GemiosBlader10 - Mar. 07, 2018 UPDATE (mostly about the prizes for the SEA qualifiers): PH representative receives the ENTIRE (kinda) Beyblade God System toy line. Bankee Inc (PH distributor of Takara Tomy) wasn't able to receive RBV6, 7 and 9 but still a great prize! I believe SEA countries will have an entire set too if they win their respective qualifiers due to SEA being literally 2 seasons late from most countries.
