I believe I might even be asking this 'too late' considering there could be something new in Beyblade soon, but regardless, after all the Face Contests we have had about upcoming Beyblade series (whole new systems not related to Metal Fight Beyblade, plastics or HMS), what do you think will actually come out in Beyblade's future ?
If I can name just one, The Bishop's entry in the latest Face Contest: Design a new Beyblade series! was an awesome idea in my opinion, but perhaps not one that was fully polished for a toyline a big company would release, understandably. He imagined that inside the Attack Ring/Metal Wheel/new attacking part, you would place marbles of different materials in certain spots around the centre. So, the different arrangements possible would consequently change the overall weight, but also the Flywheel Effect and the force applied to each hit if it is backed up by a lot of weight. To me though, that series would require a ruleset to limit how many of the heaviest marbles you could use at once with the inevitable round attacking part to come. Therefore, a permanent weight limit ?
Also, when I mentioned that the idea was not polished, it was because marbles would probably fly out no matter what or something, so then, would you end up with some encrusted weights in parts and you would change the pieces you use around the Wheel/Ring/whatever, but that would resemble the first line of Battle Strikers slightly ?
In any case, I made the following table to illustrate what has changed just between plastics/HMS and Metal Fight Beyblade. If you guys were not here back in 2008, it was a huge deal when we learned that the height could be freely chosen since the tip was separated from the core of the Beyblade. So, what could be the next innovation in this customizable spinning top hobby ?

Remember though : the limitations we saw in each series were voluntary. It seems that Beyblade cannot be the dual-rotational, fully metal, fully adjustable spinning tops we would like as 'older Bladers'. Some things are just inherently 'complicated' for younger Bladers, who are indeed the target audience no matter what. This is probably why Metal Fight Beyblade lacked a good number of dual-spin Beyblades.
I also want to refer you all to Beylon's incredible blog, which goes through basically the whole history of spinning tops and what played into the creation of Beyblade, so reading through all his posts could give you the knowledge and the momentum to go from the past and the present onto the future.

Maybe you should include something about the weight disk/ABS caul?/Clear Wheel/Crystal Wheel in the chart.
Because I was thinking, they do a Crystal Wheel/Clear Wheel that is exclusive to the Beyblade alone(Like HMS), one that is multi-directional spin, a free-spinning crsytal wheel/clear wheel(don't know how it would e possible, haha),or one with an clear wheel/Crystal Wheel that is shaped exactly like the part.

I think they might actually either separate the attack piece into even more parts, or into less parts. We need to think out of the mould, probably like : no need for a part (e.g. Weight Disk) that strictly serves to add weight; everything will help in building the weight. So, metal in every piece of the attacking part/ring ? OK, so then what do those heavy pieces do, besides that ... ?

Personally, I'm hoping for something that resembles MFB pre-Zero G more than Plastics or HMS. I felt like the first 3 seasons had a good balance between plastic and metal parts and I love the appearance of the beys as opposed to the designs in earlier serieses. For me, the only change I would like would be a style similar to The Bishop's that allows for more precise fine-tuning.

Well in plastics and HMS, the main point of attack was towards the top. In MFB, it was (pretty much) in the middle. Maybe the next series will see the main attack points on the lower half of the top? I dunno, just a thought.

I don't think kids can understand the marble idea perfectly. It would also be hard to make an interesting Anime with that marble idea.

Perhaps two or three parts with metal in them, to make an overall slightly heavy attacking piece.

Vertically, or horizontally ? Vertically would probably resemble the idea in my previous post, I suppose ? Each with a certain amount of metal inside them so you do not need an actual metal part and instead focus on multiple attacking pieces.
It would be awesome if they made tipsy tops, or whatever the spinning tops that turn on themselves and continue spinning are called.

It's pretty unlikely considering the safety hazards, but a while ago I'd had this concept of like 20 part tops that could fall apart based on how they were hit as they battled, so what was like a really powerful contact point at the beginning or balanced the top at the beginning might not be there by the end

Horizontally I was thinking of something that looked like: Flame_____ BD145 GCF only all metal. Like having three different attack rings on different levels.

It would probably be best if it was only made of a few parts, considering how dangerous that could be with attack, but think about how much easier it would be to assemble/disassemble the parts without a screw.

I'd think it'd be kinda nice to have magnetic wheels or other parts, like Magnecore, but stronger. I don't know how well this would work, and if it even could work if North and South magnets were used.

Oh yo, on the topic of magnets, I could so see Beyblades with parts that are attached to the core at first, but that move away from the Beyblade with the centripetal force the more the Beyblade spins. It would mean that the stadiums would be extremely closed because those parts could litterally explode, but it could be rather cool.
By the way, I was really surprised by how little response this topic got, and I started thinking about it again when people recently started complaining that there was a lack of activity. Surely, everyone knows Beyblade is only going forward, so we should all put our minds to thinking about that, we are all able to.

I don't want to be negative, but I think the Zero-G serie was the end of beyblade. Zero-G wasn't really successful, the concept was good, but it didn't worked as expected.

What ? Clearly this is not the end of Beyblade ... HMS also did not work well at all, but it was also because of the economy, like right now. And yet Beyblade came back. There is no reason to be so defeatist ... I can almost guarantee you there is something to look forward to.

Saying Beyblade is over is like saying Transformers was going to end after G1. Sure there were spin-offs (Action Masters, etc.) and there were few releases until Beast Wars- when Transformers was introduced to a new series, style, and generation of our favorite robots in disguise. That can be comparable to Beyblade right now, the "main" releases of MFB are mostly over, with a few "new" releases and rereleases by Hasbro, until something new and pretty darn awesome comes around.
Negativity right now doesn't help anyone.

Beyblade is my drug... and clearly i'm addicted to it so i really hope that "FUTUREBEY" will become a thing. That being said I would love to see plastics remade, i would not mind that at all, it would be great actually!
