We have been aware of rapidity for quite a while now.

Yes I think most of us have known. Thanks for stating that. Just an alert to the newer bladers out there.

Thanks for this, I very nearly bought a fake Scorpio but I decided against it because the sticker was the old Drigger bit-beast. I would have totally bought it if the Drigger blade parts were in it aswell though XD
Just wondering if this is legit. It's from a trusted seller but it doesnt seem to have any packaging

Thank For Lending Us Know

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - KFrosty - Nov. 01, 2012

Is this fake? I just bought this and was curious.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Beyblades-/150930473330?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&nma=true&si=PcE7zNtUzrSGIioodp5EWOb3Jl4%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

I think it's real, but I am not sure. I mainly bought it for the spare launchers, but wouldn't mind having some of the Earth Eagle Parts. Thanks in advanced.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Luck - Nov. 01, 2012

Looks real enough to me. although what i don't understand is the Dark Libra sticker mixed in with the launcher on the right...

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - KFrosty - Nov. 01, 2012

There is at least one 2 pack of Dark Libra and Earth Eagle together, and I assume that's where it came from.

Here is an ebay search of auctions that have it.

I don't know if this is the right thread for this, but here is my question. Today a friend of mine got a beyblade at Target. It appears to be a plastic or HMS bey. Here are photos of the launcher and bey. Can someone please tell me if this is authentic Hasbro or fake.(Preferably an expert like Technocrat or someone else)Here are the photos: http://s1355.beta.photobucket.com/user/ShinobuXD/media/Snapbucket/81E7C603_zps0459e847.jpg.html http://s1355.beta.photobucket.com/user/ShinobuXD/media/Snapbucket/ABE3DBB4_zps505870ef.jpg.html

That definitely does not look like any official Beyblade. It resembles a Battle Striker from the bottom, and the top seems Pegasus/horse-inspired.

Those are (most likely) these things called "Dracco Spin" tops, which are kind of like cheap rip offs of plastic beyblades. They do have their own website though, and they are avaliable at Target. I know because I bought one when I went to USA. :D

EDIT: Fixed link in quote :)

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Dark_Mousy - Nov. 03, 2012

Those are indeed Draco spin tops. They are very light and all around bad toys. I have one of them in the photo actually.

This Kid want's to Trade me The Duo Metal Wheel and the Launcher Rubber, But I think they're Fake, and He say's he can't tell if the Duo Metal Wheel has the Letter and Number on the Underside on 1 of the 2 Bar's.
Here are the Picture's he sent me. And Also the Launcher Rubber doesn't say Beyblade or anything at all on it, so I'm guessing it is Fake as Well.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Kai-V - Nov. 04, 2012

The Duo definitely does not look like mine. In fact, it seems like a Hasbro version where several pieces of metal would have been removed, however, Hasbro's Duo (whatever stupid name it has already ...) does not have two parts.

I would also therefore think that that Grip Rubber is fake.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Rush - Nov. 04, 2012

The underside of the core looks... different. And I don't think the Duo frame has circles on it underside, though, I'll have to check that.
EDIT: Oh wait, it does have the circles on the underside.
But the core doesn't have the raised lines to stop the launcher prongs from going into left spin. So I'm guessing It's fake.

Thank you, Yes. I came to the Conclusion earlier that is was for sure a Fake, He didn't know there was supposed to be a Letter & Number on the Underside of the Metal Wheel, so I told him to look at one of his Hasbro Metal Wheel's to see what I was referring to, and he said the Duo had No Letter & Number. Uncertain So that Trade is off.

Yeah, Thank you. He finally understood what I was talking about when I said the Bottom of the Metal Wheel should have a Letter & Number, and I had him check one of his Hasbro Bey's to understand what I was referring to, and he Confirmed there was No Letter & Number on the Duo Metal Wheel, And he also said there was No Writing or Marking's at all on the Launcher Rubber, so I thought was a little weird and Figured it was fake as well.

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - slyx - Nov. 04, 2012

just as a note the grip rubbers are supposed to come in 3 separate pieces, while the one in the photo obviously is only in 1 solid piece, so that's another piece of evidence supporting the fact that it is fake

Takara's is in three pieces. Hasbro's is one..

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - slyx - Nov. 04, 2012

oh, i'm sorry, i wasn't aware of that >< i guess i assumed that since he had a "duo" that his equipment would be mostly takara anyway, but that was an illogical conclusion on my part. sorry!

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Leone19 - Nov. 10, 2012

I just bought a fake plastic at a flea market today. It looked to be a Chinese company called V V. I have no idea what bey its supposed to be, but its interesting. The bottom is metal and there is a sticker of an anime person on the bit-chip. The ripcord snapped in half, and the gears in the launcher are stuck, but its a pretty interesting fake.

Hi guys, i bought Big Bang Pegasus recently, and i was wondering if it is possible to identify if it is fake before it arrives. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Takara-Tomy-Metal-BeyBlade-2-Metal-BeyBlade-4D-Boosters-NO-LAUNCHER-NO-PACK?item=230767517951&cmd=ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D5%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D3439981096419039086

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Bobmcdoogal - Nov. 14, 2012

It says Sono Kong in the description so it's legit

RE: theflightyellz's guide to fakes and searching. - Meow! - Nov. 30, 2012

So I recently stumbled upon this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Takara-Tomy-WBBA-Beyblade-Silver-Quetzalcoatl-105F-NDS-BB126-BB124-BB123-BB119-/320857374143?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ab496fdbf

It seems too good to be true and the odd thing is that the colors look slightly faded and it comes with a gold 105F which I've never seen before. I didn't think there were pre-hws fakes, but this looks like it could be a perfect candidate based on the picture. The description says WBBA Takara Tomy , but then it says it was from the NDS and I was under the impression that the NDS was all gold and purple.

Its a bit fishy what do you think?

I remember someone unboxed that same beyblade from that same seller. He stated that it was in fact real, but had a fake track and bottom. I an not sure if it really is real though.
