Back on topic: The acceus event wont be getting an arceus. Serubi says that you use arcues at the shinto ruins after meeting Cynthia at the ruins of Alph. You can then use Arcues to create a dialga, Palkia, and Garitina. We already have those. Boooooring. I'm more interested in Notch ear pichu!

Arceus Event hasnt happened yet...has it?
I didnt think it happened til movie came out.
And actually you get to choose to get a Lvl 1 Dialga, Palkia, or Giratina with the Arceus event thing.
Not 100% sure as far as the details though, but i know its Lvl 1 and you choose 1 of the 3

Mr. Kai... thx for pointing out the whole and thing. I thought i typed or. Anyways, becouse this game takes place 5 years before ruby, saphire, and emerald, wouldn't migrating pokemon, if it is in HG/SS, bring in pokemon from the future?

No prob. I have no clue how that will work, I would assume you will be able too on the account that you can get some of the legendaries from the 4th Generation. Hopefully more information will be released on that.
And the Date for the event, I do not think has been released in U.S. but the Japan date is like whenever the movie comes to theatres or something like that. Im sure for U.S. it will be some Event held like at Toy'S'R'Us when ever the movie is released on DVD.

I believe this will be so much better than the originals, if they keep the feature where you can go to Kanto after you beat johto!
That was probably why it was my favorite game out of all the pokemon games.
