Big fan of the game, Entry 2 suits theme better, while Entry 1 is pretty basic. My vote goes to Entry 2

In entry one, the person was lazy : you can clearly make out the edges of the "fire" on the left exactly copied on the character's cheek. You can also see something wrong with the cutting of the picture and how it is just pasted on top of the background without much link.
