RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Aug. 23, 2011 I took out GB145 Basalt on my tests above.. 230 is easy to knockout, apparently. Maybe we should try something like Basalt BD145 more. RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Bleik - Aug. 25, 2011 VariAres CH120MF (120 Height) VS MF-H Hell Bull BD145CS (aggresive) VariAres (100% Banked): 9 Wins (9 KO) Hell (80% Sliding Shoot): 11 Wins (8 KO, 3 OS) MF-H Variares 230MF VS Hell Kronos BD145EWD VariAres (100% Sliding Shoot): 16 Wins (15 KO, 1 OS) Hell (80% Straight Shot): 4 Wins (2 KO, 2 OS) VariAres was in left spin for both tests. RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 25, 2011 LETS GO!!! as Kei once had as a usertitle: MF-H VariAres CH120RF (Left-spin) vs. MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS MF-H VariAres CH120RF win rate: 18/20 (18 KO) MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS win rate: 2/20 (1 KO, 1 OS) MF-H VariAres CH120RF (Left-spin) vs. MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS MF-H VariAres CH120RF win rate: 5/5 (5 KO) MF-H Basalt Kerbecs 230CS win rate: 0/5 Top-tier? I think so. Better than Lightning? I think so. Ultimate wheel? I think so. Take it. RE: Vari Ares Discussion - H8R - Aug. 25, 2011 (Aug. 25, 2011 6:59 PM)Dan Wrote: LETS GO!!! as Kei once had as a usertitle:LOL yeah lots of wheels are starting to par up against Lightning Beat,Blitz, Vari Ares..... could you try R145 on Vari Ares as well ???? RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 25, 2011 I don't have it. (R145) Am I the only one amazed by its results against Basalt BD145CS? Blitz? I'm still on the edge considering Dei's videos had Basalt near the ridge which is very easy to KO compared to it in the center. The theory isn't necessarily true either (Blitz getting at/under/destabilize smashing Basalt) for a lot of reasons. VariAres didn't do so hot at 100 height because of its actual height, perhaps 105 would do better. But yeah, this is auto top-tier in my opinion. RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Bleik - Aug. 25, 2011 I agree Dan! MF-F Variares D125EDS (CARP combo)can KO MF-H Hell Bull BD145CS consistently! That alone show its a great MW! I can do R145 tests if you want! Any requests? RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 25, 2011 If you don't have Basalt, you're not going to get many requests. lol MF-H VariAres R145RF vs. MF-H Libra BD145CS I should also point out that VariAres is the only right spin wheel that can kill Basalt 230CS. Nothing else can at BD145 or any other height. (yes, Gravity included :\ lol) RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Bleik - Aug. 25, 2011 MF-H VariAres R145MF (Left) VS Hell Bull BD145CS VariAres: 14 Wins (14 KO) Hell: 6 Wins (6 OS) I used my tactic where I banked VariAres real low so if Hell touched it, R145 would scrape resulting in VariAres avoiding KO's MF-H VariAres R145MF (Right) VS MF-M Meteo L-Drago CH120XF (120, XF Mint) VariAres: 13 Wins (11 KO, 2 OS) Meteo: 7 Wins (1 KO, 6 OS) VariAres practically smashed Meteo downwards causing it to scrape and tumble out of the stadium or regain balance with low spin. I dont have Pre HWS Libra. My only defense wheels are Earth and Hell. lol. RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 25, 2011 Hell is about as defensive as Beat. Thats a shame. Vari would probably mutilate Earth, but try it anyway. RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Bleik - Aug. 25, 2011 Should I test against Earth Kronos D (F Weak Launch)? RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 25, 2011 no thats dum. Just R145RF vs. MF-H Earth Kerbecs BD145CS/MB RE: Vari Ares Discussion - MFB Mad Master - Aug. 25, 2011 I cant wait to try this combo out, it owned almost all the Basalt Combos RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 25, 2011 No. it owned them all. RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Bleik - Aug. 25, 2011 VariAres R145RF (Left Spin) VS Earth Bull BD145CS (aggresive) VariAres: 13 Wins (13 KO) Earth: 7 Wins (7 OS) I weak-launched Earth Bull at around 20% RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Shabalabadoo - Aug. 25, 2011 What other heights or tracks work well, Dan? RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Bleik - Aug. 25, 2011 CH120/R145/GB145MF/RF are the best tested so far. I prefer 85RF because it beat 230 combos by KO RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 25, 2011 Uhh if you're going to weak launch I would obviously pick right spin. those test are a bit dimwitted but still good. IDK I tried it as recoil defense and it was awesome lol. <120 gets murdered >120 doesn't do as well. even BD. Yeah.. I'm uncertain. RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Chups - Aug. 25, 2011 Same thing as many have done. MF VariAres GB145R2F v MF-H Basalt Aquario BD145CS Standard procedure MF VariAres GB145R2F: 16 wins (15 KO 1 OS) MF-H Basalt Aquario BD145CS: 4 wins (4 OS) 0 Draws. Win percentage: 80% <3 RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Dan - Aug. 25, 2011 You should start mentioning what spin direction, though if you're using R2F I'll assume right-spin? lol Thanks for proving my point, though! RE: Vari Ares Discussion - Chups - Aug. 25, 2011 Oh god. Sorry. It was left spin. I just have a prime condition R2F that I prefer to use RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Aug. 26, 2011 Its all and all interesting, but I'm gonna be doing BD145 tomorrow and H145!!! What we've really been waiting for. Ill test: MF-H VariAres [Left/Right] H145/BD145RF/R2F VS. MF-H Basalt Kerbecs BD145CS RE: Vari Ares Discussion - TenshouTsubasa - Aug. 26, 2011 These two track doesn't seems good to me. RE: Vari Ares Discussion - BeybladeStation - Aug. 26, 2011 That thought of yours looks bad to me. The OP for BD145 shows over 60%'s. What do you want, huh? R145 has had so much. Lots waned H145, I will do i! RE: Vari Ares Discussion - ControL_ - Aug. 26, 2011 (Aug. 26, 2011 1:29 AM)BeyBladestation Wrote: That thought of yours looks bad to me.What is everyone seeing in H145? The only difference between H145 and R145 is mass and shape. Shape is ruled out as a factor as it does not make contact with the other bey itself, nor does it create any noticeably different drag. Prove me wrong with tests, I will test tomorrow for sure, but this hype on H145 doesn't seem logical. It has never gotten better results in the past. RE: Vari Ares Discussion - pepsikola - Aug. 26, 2011 Hey if anyone has UW145 can you see if they extend to the contact points of the variares wheel? |
