RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Byser - Dec. 05, 2011 I know it's a Dragoon MSUV, but really, who's actually willing spend $1010 on a spinning top? http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-HMS-Dragoon-MSUV-Ultimate-Version-Beyblade-MA01-Takara-/280782483352?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item415ff0af98&autorefresh=true Doubt roux would mind though, considering it's her auction. :p RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - th!nk - Dec. 05, 2011 Look at the bidding history, those are fake bids from very new accounts. http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p4340.l2565&rt=nc&item=280782483352 As much as I'm sure you are aware of that, man, this fake bidding stuff is an annoying fad. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - xSora10 - Dec. 05, 2011 I know that Dragoon MSUV is rare...but seriously? You could buy two video game systems and a few video games with that sort of money. Whoever bought that...either seriously regretted it, or just has a lot of money to blow off. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Byser - Dec. 05, 2011 Didn't you read th!nk's post? The ones who bidded extremely high were fake accounts. That said, I probably should have mentioned that earlier so that th!nk wouldn't have had to point it out. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - xSora10 - Dec. 05, 2011 I did read his post...but I was just saying. If those weren't fake accounts...I'd say the people bidding had too much to drink. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Primal - Dec. 12, 2011 I think this can speak for itself: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAKARA-Beyblade-126-Dragoon-MS-Japan-Anime-Rare-New-/200687442514?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eb9e75a52#sf RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - roux - Dec. 12, 2011 (Dec. 05, 2011 7:42 PM)th!nk Wrote: Look at the bidding history, those are fake bids from very new accounts. thanks for clarifying the fact and I soon sold it for $125 afterwards fraudulation sucks. The seller must be desperate for money. Lol RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Janstarblast - Dec. 15, 2011 How bad, so sad. This seems like 'any other' Dragoon MS... But, its NIB! Still, the seller asks TOO MUCH for it... http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAKARA-Beyblade-126-Dragoon-MS-Japan-Anime-Rare-New-/200687442514?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2eb9e75a52#ht_1930wt_698 RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - KillerSpinner - Dec. 15, 2011 (Dec. 05, 2011 7:42 PM)th!nk Wrote: this fake bidding stuff is an annoying fad.Not a fad. A fad is something that eventually fades. Schill bidding will remain ANY online auction's dirty little evil. I found one of these for under $25.00 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Takara-Tomy-BeyBlade-WBBA-Champion-4D-Big-Bang-Gold-Pegasus-Pegasis-Limited-/150700390356?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item23167177d4 In a couple months they'll be as cheap as Divine Chimera is. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Justaway - Dec. 19, 2011 The costliest I found Wow, $1149 for 4 beys...I doubt if it would go for $500 even. I know they are rare but I've never seen them go for more than $100 in single pieces and $1149 here is almost 2 x the actual price RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Hazel - Dec. 19, 2011 The seller is probably assuming they all contain the most valuable piece in them, which would not make it nearly as overpriced. Still a ripoff, even if they were all MSUV, though. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Arkger176 - Dec. 19, 2011 http://www.toywiz.com/flamelibra.html This is thoroughly stupid. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Hazel - Dec. 19, 2011 Toywiz tends to gauge things based on what they perceive as the market availability as per representation in US retail stores, so by that metric it "makes sense". Still, ridiculous. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Samurai Changer - Dec. 19, 2011 http://www.toywiz.com/jjupiters130rb.html compared to: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Beyblade-Jade-Jupiter-BB116-S130RB-US-Seller-USA-/170725381318?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27c00694c6#ht_598wt_953 RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Beybladehms - Dec. 26, 2011 I believe that dragoon msuv (grey) is too overpriced - when I bought it, the price was £5.00 for a saints beast booster . I miss the old beyblade though. Check my YouTube channel (mfblade2) to see proof I had it - the video is called my beyblade collection - I only have a few beyblades remaining from the old beyblade. E.g . Dragoon ms ,msuv wheel RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Noctus134B - Dec. 26, 2011 Bloody Devil- http://www.ebay.com/itm/JAPAN-TAKARA-Beyblade-Metal-HMS-GS-MA-23-Bloody-Devil-/270862005957?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f10a236c5#ht_854wt_1193 Samurai Changer- http://www.ebay.com/itm/JAPAN-TAKARA-Beyblade-Metal-HMS-GS-MA-20-Samurai-Change-/280786450860?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item41602d39ac#ht_854wt_1193 Random HMS Booster- http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-TAKARA-Beyblade-HMS-Dragoon-HUDSON-SOFT-/180780133946?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a1755ee3a#ht_1152wt_1193 Dark Leopard- http://www.ebay.com/itm/JAPAN-TAKARA-Beyblade-Metal-HMS-GS-MA-16-Dark-Leopard-/260920607835?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc014845b#ht_807wt_1193 RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - KillerSpinner - Dec. 26, 2011 (Dec. 19, 2011 11:14 PM)Arkger176 Wrote: http://www.toywiz.com/flamelibra.html (Dec. 19, 2011 11:19 PM)Hazel Wrote: Toywiz tends to gauge things based on what they perceive as the market availability as per representation in US retail stores, so by that metric it "makes sense". [Image: ToywizSummerSpinShowdownLogo.png] It's utterly tasteless to do this when they promoted competitions in conjunction with us this summer AND they are an affiliate with a small banner at lower left of our front page not to mention they did NOT charge that additional $5.00 fee that most if not all shops charge..... RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Hazel - Dec. 27, 2011 They're a business. Money is all they're really concerned about in earnest. Expecting them to behave any other way is naive. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - th!nk - Dec. 27, 2011 Maybe you didn't notice the price on those pages? If the WBO ever sold out to the point of restricting what users post in that sense, I would be disgusted. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Hazel - Dec. 27, 2011 Toywiz has always been this way, and in every section, not just Beyblade. Seriously, stop making a mountain out of an old mole hill. Shop somewhere else. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - th!nk - Dec. 27, 2011 Though, I would point out that their Jade Jupiter is a prize bey from a random booster, whereas the ebay link is a sonokong one. That is the cause of most of the difference. Still, you can sometimes get a full set of a random booster for the price of that Jade Jupiter... RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Deikailo - Dec. 27, 2011 Toy Wiz has some great stuff and it's a safe website for parents to order from. That being said, most parents don't actually research prices and would prefer not to order from eBay as they have no idea that it is reliable and real. Toy Wiz has an actual location and a phone number. Just like how parents spend so much with me, it's just easier when you can communicate with someone. That ties into the price. But lately, their prices are extremely reasonable for a US seller. If I'm ordering singles, I'm going to order from Toy Wiz, hands down for the ending argument of I can make a phone call for any problems and I get tracking (which is great since I live in NYC and I'm not always home). For someone from Australia buying from a US seller, this makes absolutely no sense. RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - Space virus - Dec. 29, 2011 I once saw a Takara Zeus for 170$ CAD RE: MOST overpriced beys you have seen - kbuno50 - Dec. 31, 2011 The most ridiculous prices on toywiz yet: http://www.toywiz.com/beybladeparts1.html "20 BUCKS FOR A POISON?
