Apparently in Low mode the rubber is "softer" meaning it is more absorptive, as in absorbing more spin. This is because the armor is below the ring and the rubber can bend inward more. In high mode, the 3 armor is more directly on the Blade part, so it can't bend inward as much because the armor is there to prevent it from doing so (like Cyclone Ragnaruk's wings). Of course, this is just what TT says about it, in actuality I don't think the difference will be noticeable, but we'll just have to wait and see. High mode is supposed to be the "hard" node while Low mode is supposed to be "softer".

Was there really any need to make the gear in Fafnir's colours when Fafnir can't even use it? The colours don't fit Belial at all.

I changed my mind, at first I thought Vanish is problematic (bc it's too focused on spin stealing and not taking into account stamina loosing/burst risk against lefts and slow rights), now I realize Kick is the real worst part of this bey and maybe even of a whole DB gen so far...

Vanish looks quite cool, I like the parts and the gimmicks are neat. Definitely will pick it up eventually. Although I am curious why they chose to light launch it instead of hand spinning or leaving it in the stadium.

I wonder if the shape of tapered will either make it scrape especially with the the steeper centre of the DB standard type or if it will go really well with kick and have decent LAD. The driver shape remind of yielding with the universe ring around it, regardless I think Vanish fafnir looks cool and I hope some parts of it are useful. This also makes me curious about high they'll implement gimmicks with high and low mode as they've done with now Vanish and Cyclone where in high mode the armour somewhat restricts the gimmick that's directly outside of it.

That's kinda what bothers me. Despite looking like part of Fafnir, it doesn't fit on Fafnir, which feels off. I wouldn't even mind this add on idea, if they made the ring black with red to fit Belial better, or if it's Fafnir coloured, worked on Fafnir too. I guess the reason why it's Fafnir coloured is so that Belial looks very clearly like a fusion of top bladers, I assume, like his bey becomes a "fusion of the legends" kinda bey.
Anyway, my thoughts on Vanish Fafnir is that it still looks cool and I'm just glad that Kick isn't as bad looking as Just, but I doubt it'll be nearly as good as Zn+Z' for LAD. The disk looks really cool, very armoured like a turtle shell in a way. The Vanish layer is kinda cool but the mode change is a bit underwhelming. I thought something would fill the gaps for the hard mode, but nope, and the mode changes hardly feel different.

Interesting look from the Kick driver, though like Jinbee said, I don't see it rivaling the major LAD powers such as Drift, Zn+Z', Destroy, and more. Vanish may be prone to breaking with that flexible rubber, but hopefully it's flexible enough to absorb well, but not wonky enough to cause product issues. Tapered does look like a good defensive disk if it's as heavy as Giga or even Nexus. Seems like a bit of a Mirage downgrade, but it's too early to truly say. Definitely the true evolution to Wizard Fafnir.

In upper mode, the bey actually looks very good. I see some potential in the driver but not a lot. Though my biggest concern is if rage is gonna rip right through the "bound defense" gimmick b/c it kinda looks fragile (also considering that TT made rage a literal combat knife).

oh cool point it does look somewhat like Polish, although I wonder how much the weight distribution differs versus polish since polish had an outer plastic casing whilst tapered is just fully metal

Tapered looks like it'll have a super-low center of gravity and good OWD, so I'm hoping it'll perform quite well.
