I'm only going to answer the last part which is the gilten part shu never stole any spotlight from gilten he just was never going to be important at all . 1. his way older than any of the cast that beyblade 2. he Doesnt even have a bey all those were proof he never was meant to the spotlight thats like saying free or valt stole the spotlight from Kris although her role was never meant to be a blader all same applies to gilten be was just their an both manga and anime it's that simple
 even the so call he got the spotlight stolen isn't even true his the whole reason why red eye exists,  requiem exist he played his role  has the a manipulative human being  lol

The thing is How could anyone say that valt stole the spotlight from Kris? Valt was literally the Main character from before kris was even introduced while Gilton was being  built up as a villain since early on until shu came in and proved how clueless everyone in this universe really is. It would've worked better if shu was basically darth vader and wilton wasp palps but they had to make it the other way around. Its not hard to just give Gilton amaterios. Just create a god version of amaterios and make it have an evil color scheme
and boom ya got a new bey. Also i hate how they gave shu TWO beys. Just don't make legend spriggan and just make spriggan requiem. That last spot could've been something awesome but they had to make it a second spriggan, because aLL tHe kIdS lOvE Spriggian.  >:(
