For the first place, there's people arguing on how the criminal power would increase. In part, true, very true. All kinds of nasty overpower flowing from an plastic ring. Convenient. BUT, all the sides of the fight would have beyblades. Science would work a lot on it. Civilians would have simple, accessible firepower. And, let's admit it, it's not as effective as the usual bombs, guns and missiles. That, and the MFB anime ITSELF speak about L-Drago and VariAres successes behind civil wars / territory fights and stuff. VariAres, no less.

Why I say that? People forget that, in the anime, there are sacred beasts and magical meteors. No star-power nor spirits technically means no overpowered, world swallowing Special Moves... Sorta. (Sorry for being harsh, but following the topic as per see...) Now, w/that in mind, TRY to imagine someone bombing something with BEYBLADES... Doji is the proof of the failure.

And, just to say, OF COURSE the government would meddle with this. It's like, I dunno, walking with weapons around. There would be ONU-discussed rules over beyblades... That's it.

One good thing (finally), would be a complete change on the look. In both universes, we see that they actually need to struggle and practice body 'n mind to hone their bey-skills. That mean Beyblade, beyond a sport, could be considered an discipline! Like exercising your body, training balance and concentration, all by controlling an spinning top. Don't forget the five senses. If someone would actually FEELS what's happening to one's bey, and uses one's body to control it, beyblading would be useful in lots of MEDICINAL areas (physical rehab so much?)

... And I pity whoever thought of wars and didn't mind SPYING.

Well, and then to the game itself. First, kiss the current metagame goodbye. We are talking about Sharpies moving as fast as Xtreme Flats, Rubber Flats spinning as long as Bearing Drives and Virgos smashing like Blitzes. That and the nasty "flat tip stand still" concept. There would be a lot of personal skill envolved, and even w/o magical carp to help us, PHYSICS (or it's defying) would do for amazing Special Moves. Maybe we could still do what they do, just not as strong.
No stadium smashing, and playing with ours Attack Stadiums would be comical. 3 secs. battles, anyone?

... Actually, a new, actually VERY serious metagame would take place. Instead of (just) taking account of contact points, height and weight, we would analyse what could be done with a piece when controlled. Like HF/S defensive tactics, controlling C145/GB145 to maximize distabilizing and dodging, or using pieces previously labelled as "Useless" for something otherwise impossible. Ah, yeah, Gattiyaki. OH H***, Gatiyaki. Now, I don't know if Sliding Shot would survive this. Poor thing.

... And that's it. Beyblade probably would be quite a moving factor in the economy, and ones like TT and Hasbro... You get it. Beyblade probably would change LOTSA jobs. Cutting wood would be less dangerous, just let it rip (had to) and don't miss the line. Giroscopes? Beyscopes. Beyblades could be used to study the weather! They could explore Mar! They could mess your bedroom a lot!! ... Eh.

... Man, it's getting creepy. I'd better stop now.

BUT other than that, it'd be cool to have like iron hair that never loses shape or for like 1 year never change my close. (as long as i don't meet ryuga)

In the MFB anime, customizing does occur, actually. Parts have been swapped between main characters on at least one occasion I can recall.
