Aria: We won't be losing so easily! C'mon Aurora!

*Ulysses would run out of spin*

Aria: Yeah!

Uriel: Aww man...

*Meanwhile, over at Bax and Santino's battle*

Bax: You know what to do, Basilisk!

Santino: Knock 'em out of the park, Salamander!

*Basilisk would send Salamander flying out of the stadium*

Bax: Heh!

Santino: I won't lie, but I think you've gotten stronger from our last match... *He'd say, picking up his bey*

Bax: Well, that makes two of us! *He'd say, also picking up his bey*

Uriel: If I'm being totally honest, we all got stronger!

Aria: Mhm!

*Suddenly, Arenai would come over to the stadium that Uriel and co. were at*

Arenai: Yo, pipsqueaks! Hanami wants us all at the arena for an announcement!

Bax: Hey! Wanna say that again?

Uriel: Yeah! We're not pipsqueaks!

Arenai: We'll see in the future! For now, you all are pipsqueaks until you decide to make a change for the better! (He'd say, walking off)

Uriel: Grrrrr!!! What's his problem?!

Bax: For once, that's a question we both have!

Aria: I dunno-

Santino: Just ignore 'em. He's one of those bladers that try to get people riled up outta nowhere.

Uriel: Oh- ok! Thanks Santino!

Santino: Don't mention it.

Uriel: Alright guys! Let's head over to the arena like Arenai said!

Everyone: Alright!

*They'd all head over to the arena, Hanami would then appear*

Hanami: Alright you bladers!! This just in, we have arrived at Japan, and a new challenger will come aboard the ship!

Uriel: A new challenger? Awesome!

Shinito: I know right? That means new bey data and all!

Arenai: He better be a worthy opponent...

Iru: Arenai, you shouldn't really underestimate people. Talk like that may keep you from win-

Arenai: Did I ask, Goldie Locks?

Iru: *sigh* He'll never learn...

Hanami: So in the meantime-

*The blader aforementioned would open the hatch of the submarine, then he would climb down the ladder and make his way towards the arena*

Hanami: ...Here he is, Bladers-

Maruko: LISTEN UP EVERYONE! I'm Maruko Zamasu, and I'll defeat everyone on this ship!

Aria: *gasps* THAT'S the new blader?!

Bax: What nerve he has to challenge me and Basilisk...

Uriel: Grr... *He'd look at Ulysses*

Iru: *gasps*

*Iru would get a memory*

Young Iru: Go Free! Defeat Phi!

*On Iru's TV*

Free (TV): FAFNIR! ABSORB BREAK!!

*Fafnir's Absorb driver would get pressed in, then it would charge towards Phoenix*

*Fafnir would knock Dead Phoenix' armor off*

Phi (TV): Now, Phoenix! Dead Stinger PRESS!!

*Phoenix would crush Fafnir, destroying it and leaving it in tiny pieces*

Free (TV): *gasps*

*Iru would turn off the TV*

Young Iru: No... Fafnir was destroyed?!

*The Flashback would end*

Iru (Mind): He seems suspicious... *He'd say, clinching his bey in his hands* I better watch out for him...

Hanami: Alright bladers! Now, we'll be randomizing a blader to go up against Maruko to test his strength! *He'd say, pressing a big yellow button that would shaffle all the bladers up*

Uriel: I hope it's me...

Hanami: Now, he'll be going against... Santino Genji!

Aria: Whoa Santino, you're up first!

Santino (Mind): Maruko Zamasu... I won't let you destroy my beyblade... *He'd say as he'd head to the stairs, walk down, and then head to the stadium in the arena*

Hanami: Ok boys and girls! On the left corner, we have the Silent Salamander, Santino Genji!

*Santino would walk up to the stadium*

Uriel and Aria: Yeah! Go Santino!

Bax: You better win Santino... because I'm the only one who can defeat you!

Juudai: I wonder how this new blader will play out a match against Santino...

Hanami: ...and on the right corner, we have our newest blader, Maruko Zamasu!

*Maruko would walk up to the stadium*

Maruko: *sigh* And you're my first opponent?

Santino: Don't judge me, I'm stronger than I look, got that?

Maruko: Well ya could've fooled me. *He'd say, taking out his launcher* Salamander will be crushed.

Santino: *He'd flip his bangs over to the right* The only one getting crushed is your spirit after this battle!

Hanami: Holy smokes, bladers! The round hasn't even started, and the sparks are already flying!

Uriel: *gasps* Santino's a whole new person! Where's the old Santino...

Shinito: It looks like Santino's serious about this battle, given that Maruko just threatened to break everyone's bey...

Uriel: That jerk... he thinks he can just destroy anyone's beyblade...

Hanami: Alright bladers! With that being said, let's get this battle on!

Referee: Since this is an exhibition battle, we'll be going to two points!

Everyone: Got it!

Maruko: You'll be getting annihilated by Decimate Mortifyr!

Santino: We'll see.

Referee: Inspect your opponent's beys!

*Santino would hand Maruko his bey, and Maruko would do the same*

Santino (Mind): Decimate Mortifyr. It looks like an extremely aggressive attack type with a jagged, 5 bladed layer. It's tip-

*Maruko would snatch Mortifyr out of Santino's hands*

Maruko: Thats a long enough time for your disgraceful hands to be on Mortifyr!

Santino (Mind): What nerve he has...  

*Santino would switch to 10 Bladed Mode, while Maruko would switch to...

Referee: First battle! Ready, and set!

Everyone: Three! Two! One!

Santino and Maruko: Let it... Rip!

*Both bladers would pull off a Quantum Shoot*

Hanami: Both bladers start the match off with devastating Quantum Shoots!

Santino: Salamander! Take the center!

Maruko: Hunt it down, Mortifyr!

*Mortifyr would thrust towards Salamander. As it attacked, Salamander would be sent flying towards the wall*

Santino: *gasps*

Hanami: Mortifyr leads the match off with a fierce blow to Salamander!

Shinito: Yo guys, check this out! *He would say, pulling out his tablet*

*Everyone would look at the tablet*

Shinito: You guys see Mortifyr's 5 jagged blades? Well, due to it's unbalanced shape, it can deal devastating blows to even the strongest of defenses!

Aria: Really?

Uriel: Welp, Maruko's gonna give Santino a run for his money...

*Back at the stadium*

Maruko: That's the shame you call a defense?

Santino: Take that back! Salamander, hit 'em with Up Charge!! *He'd say, thrusting his left arm out*

Maruko: Dodge it.

*Mortifyr would dodge Salamander's attack, sending it flying towards the wall yet again*

Maruko: Mortifyr, attack!

Santino: We aren't done yet! SALAMANDER!

*Salamander's avatar would erupt from it's beyblade, engulfed in a magenta flame*

Santino: Royal GUARD!!

*Salamander would successfully block off Mortifyr's attack, but in turn would be sent flying out of the stadium along with Mortifyr.*

Santino: What?!

Maruko: *sigh*

Referee: Simultaneous Ring Out Finish! No points awarded!

Hanami: Did you see that, bladers?! An intense first battle indeed!

Uriel (Mind): Maruko didn't even use a special move, and he still tied with Santino... I hope he'll be alright...

Aria: Some power that is...

Maruko: Can you keep up? That round was barely even a warm-up for Mortifyr.

Santino: Whatever, let's just start the battle.

Maruko: So be it, that means Salamander will collapse even more fast!

Santino (Mind): Why is Mortifyr so intense... not even my defense could help against it. I have to get some good hits off of it, so I'll go in 5 bladed mode.

*Santino would put Salamander in it's 5 bladed mode*

Maruko: Choose any mode you want, I'll still win!

Referee: Second battle! Ready, and set!

Everyone: Three! Two! One!

Santino and Maruko: Let it... RIP!!

*They'd both pull off a Quantum Shoot*

Maruko: Attack, Mortifyr!! Go for a Decimate Barrage!! *He'd say, thrusting his hand out*

Santino: Rival that with Royal Smash!!

*Salamander and Mortifyr would bombard each other with attacks*

Hanami: Wha?! Salamander and Mortifyr are both giving each other a run for their own money!!

Uriel: Doing good, Santino!!

Aria: Yeah! Keep it up!

*Back at the stadium*

Maruko: Now, Mortifyr! Send him packing!

*Mortifyr would send Salamander flying towards the wall*

Hanami: Huh?! It's a replay from last match!

Shinito: Hanami got it on spot, it's like an exact repeat from last match!

Uriel: Argh... I wanna battle now!

*Back at the stadium*

Santino: Not this time! SALAMANDER!!

*Salamander's avatar would burst from it's beyblade, engulfed in magenta flames*

Santino: SHUT 'EM DOWN WITH ROYAL UPPER!! *He'd say, lowering his left arm and thrusting it back up, akin to an upper attack*

*Mortifyr would get sent flying towards the wall, then it would soar into the air*

Maruko: *He'd smirk*

Aria: Finally, he got a good hit off of 'em!

Uriel: Why's Maruko smirking...?

Shinito: Uh oh!!

Uriel: What is it?

Shinito: You guys see the uneven 5th blade on the top of the layer?

Everyone: Yeah, why?

Shinito: Well, the falling attack it's doing... can do serious damage to Salamander if it hits it in the perfect spot.

Uriel: Gee, Maruko planned this all out!

Bax: Hmph!

Santino (Mind): Wait... he used the attack from Salamander to hit the stadium wall and get sent flying in the air... well, he's not winning!

Santino: HAAAAAAAAAAAAA! SALAMANDER, GO FOR ANOTHER ROYAL UPPER!!

Maruko: ...Mortifyr!!

*Mortifyr's avatar would erupt from it's beyblade, engulfed in purple and white flames*

Maruko: DESCENDING DECIMATION!!

*Mortifyr would hit Salamander as it fell, with wind surging throughout the arena!*

Hanami: Agh! This is intense, Bey Fans!

Uriel: Argh... is Santino good down there?! *He'd say, blocking the wind by holding up his arms*

Shinito: I don't know... *He'd say, also blocking the wind*

Bax: Santino wasn't that strong in our battle-

Aria: That's because he's serious now, he probably didn't have a reason to go serious against you-

Bax: WHAT'D YOU SAY?! I'LL BLAST THAT SMIRK RIGHT OFF YOUR FACE!

Aria: Haha!

*Back to the battle*

Santino: Hyaaaaa!!!!!

Maruko: HAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

*Mortifyr would then push Salamander down to the stadium floor, bursting it*

Santino: *gasps*

Maruko: Heh! I told ya Salamander would be crushed!

Uriel: Wait- what?! Wasn't Salamander supposed to knock Mortifyr out of the stadium?

Shinito: Well, you see-

Bax: ...due to it's heavy weight, all of that weight pressed on Salamander, bringing it to the stadium floor and bursting it.

Shinito: ...was what I was going to say.

Bax: Heh! I guess ya'll can call me the Beyblade Expert!

Shinito: HEY! Nobody's allowed to steal the beyblade expert title from me!!

*Back at the stadium*

Hanami: Did you see that, Bey Fans?! Maruko wiped out Santino Genji-

Arenai: HANAMI!

Hanami: Uhh, yeah?

Arenai: Can you schedule an exhibition match between me and Maruko? It'll be tomorrow.

Hanami: Hmmm, sure! After all, we don't have any events tomorrow, so of course!

Arenai: Thanks.

Maruko: Oh? You're challenging me? Bring it on! Mortifyr will mop the floor with you!

Arenai: You must not know who I am! I'm a member of the Quantum Three, some of the strongest bladers around! You don't know who you're dealin' with, kid.

Maruko: We'll see.

Uriel: Awesome! Arenai's challenging Maruko, this'll be so wicked!

Aria: I know right? It'll be a battle of strength!

Shinito: The data from this battle will be extraordinary! I can't wait!

Juudai: Oh? A blader like Arenai challenging a blader like Maruko? I wonder how this'll turn out! *She'd say, grinning*

Hanami: Alright, bladers! We'll see you tomorrow for the awesome exhibition match! Hanami, out!

*Everyone would leave the arena*

Uriel: So, you guys pumped for the exhibition match tomorrow?

Aria: Of course! We'll learn if he's really as tough as he says he is.

Bax: I guess, depending on how fast Arenai ends it.

Shinito: Hey guys... I don't mean to bother, but did anyone see Santino?

Uriel: No... I think he left for training.

Bax: Knowing Santino, he most likely did.

Uriel: Well guys, I'ma go get some training in, seeya!

Everyone (Except for Bax): Seeya!

*Uriel would go over to the training area, where Santino was*

Santino: RIP!!

Santino (Mind): I can't lose to a blader like him again... More practice.

Santino: Let it RIP!!!

Uriel: Yo Santino, you alright?

Santino: Not really... after the lost against Maruko, I guess I just snapped. I'm starting to think if I really am a good blader.

Uriel: Oh. Well don't worry, you're strong in my book! *He'd say, putting his right arm over Santino's shoulders*

Santino: Thanks. *He'd give off a warm smile*

Uriel: Don't mention it! *He'd say, giving off a toothy grin*

*A few minutes later, everyone would head to their dorms and go to sleep*

*The next day*

Uriel: Oh boy! The super duper awesome battle's today! *He'd say, quickly getting dressed, and then grabbing his beyblade and going outside his dorm*

Uriel: Alright Ulysses, you ready to see an awesome match!

*Ulysses would glimmer*

Uriel: Me too!

*Uriel would meet up with the group*

Aria: Oh hey Uriel!

Uriel: What's up?

Bax: Uh... the surface.

Shinito: Very funny, Bax.

*Santino and Uriel would chuckle*

Uriel: So, you guys ready for the super awesome match today?

Bax: Somewhat...

Aria: Totally!

Uriel: Me too! I wonder who's stronger...

*Nora would come to the crew from her dorm*

Nora: Obviously Arenai. *He'd say, walking off to the arena*

Uriel: ...Ok...

*Arenai would walk towards the arena*

Uriel: Oh hey Arenai-

*Arenai would ignore Uriel, walking off into the arena*

Uriel: Dang, I guess it's national "Ignore Uriel" Day..

*Everyone would enter the arena*

Hanami: Hello all you Bey Fans! Today we'll be kicking off the exhibition battle!

Uriel (Mind): Arenai better win...

Hanami: In the left corner, we have the Vexing Veteran, Maruko Zamasu!

*Maruko would walk up to the stadium*

Hanami: In the right corner, we have our Crashing Meteor, Arenai Inuhara!

*Arenai would come up to the stadium*

Maruko: Your reign of #2 in the Quantum Three will end! Mark my words!

Arenai: That's some big talk ya got there! How about we settle this with our beys?

Maruko: Consider it done!

Uriel: Wow, there's some extreme beef going on down there!

Aria: Agreed!

Referee: First battle! Ready, and set!

Everyone: Three! Two! One!

Arenai and Maruko: Let it... RIP!!

*They'd both pull off fierce Quantum Shoots*

Hanami: And they both lead off with fierce launches!

Arenai: Charge at him, Ares! Warlord Shoot!

Maruko: Shut him out, Decimate Barrage!

*Both of the bey's would lock themselves with a barrage against the other*

Hanami: The beys are ripping up the stadium with a fierce barrage of attacks!!

Arenai: Heh! Wearing you out, huh?

Maruko: Not one bit... I'm barely just starting.

Uriel: Wow... it looks like they're both equally matched!

Aria: Yeah! Arenai's not doing too bad.

Shinito: Uh, guys... look. *He'd say, pulling up the recorded video of Arenai vs. Maruko (First Round)* Every time Mortifyr attacks Ares, Ares gets slightly destabilized!

Bax: I wonder if he noticed that yet...

Uriel: He's Arenai, of course he would've been recognized that... right?

*Meanwhile, at the stadium*

Hanami: Nobody's letting up! Will this fierce clash ever end?

Arenai: Now, Ares! Warlord AXEL!! *He'd say, bringing his arms up and shooting them downwards*

Maruko: Counter it with Decimate Break!!

*Mortifyr would impact Ares so hard, it would be sent flying out of the stadium*

Arenai: Hm.

Maruko: Heh!!

Referee: Ring out finish! One point goes to Maruko Zamasu!

Hanami: And Maruko snags the first point with a relentless attack!!

Uriel: Oh no, Maruko has a point!

Bax: I'm surprise Mortifyr hasn't burst yet...

Maruko: Now Ares will fall!

Arenai: Don't get too confident, it's the first battle, after all. Me and Ares will make a comeback!

Hanami: Did you hear that, Bey Fans? Sparks are igniting down there as Maruko takes the lead! Will Maruko defeat the 2nd best of the Quantum Three, or will Arenai show this blader who's boss?!
