Ehhh "Kinning" a character means that you relate a lot to that character and/or you feel connected to them (in extreme kin cases one may also feel that you're that character in your past life, smh). Mostly used by roleplayers. In my case, I relate a lot to these characters instead of the other two definitions. someone who kin a lot/kins a character is called a "kinnie" I hope this helps! ^^
