Valt (comes down the stairs): Oh you're back. I got a text message from Fubuki.

Ichiban: I didn't knew he was in touch with you.

Valt: My bad.. I didn't told you about him, he's my succesor... (He looks the other direction) in a way.

Ichiban (makes a questionable expression): Succesor..?

Valt: He was the captain of Beigoma but got promotion and became the coach. And I was the one who build the team, In other words...

Ichiban: You were the previous captain before him..?

Valt (Smiles): Yeah... and now it's getting dark. Let's have the dinner and after that you should sleep, if you wanna wake up on time.

Ichiban: Alright!



~The Next Day~

(The alarm clock rings)

Ichiban (turns it off): Heh, It's the first time I've ever woke up on time.

Valt (comes at his room): It's time to wa-

(He notices Ichiban was already ready, carrying a backpack)

Valt: Oh you're already ready. (Smiles)

Ichiban (leaves his home and waves at Valt while running): Now I'm off! Take care of yourself, dad!

Valt (waves back): Don't worry about me, You take care of yourself and Valk- I mean.. Icarus!


(Ichiban reached the New Beigoma)


Fubuki (Notices Ichiban): Oh you're here.

Ichiban: Yeah!

Watashi: Heh, I thought you won't show up.

Ichiban: Sorry but I wanted to battle Spriggan!

Fubuki (Smiles): Don't get excited already, Spriggan is going to be your final challenge.

Ichiban/Watashi: Final Challenge?

Fubuki: Yeah... two more bladers are going to join this journey!

Ichiban: But didn't you said that we're going straight to america?

Fubuki (Smiles): It's a surprise. Besides, you're gonna battle more stronger bladers and make your way to the Kiwami League.

Ichiban (makes a questionable expression): Kiwami League?

Watashi: It's a league, only the strongest 12 bladers who have registered are going to enter.

Ichiban (Smiles): Sounds fun! I wanna enter too!

Fubuki: I presumed that, so I already signed you up for the league.

Ichiban: Oh cool!

(A Battleship-like plane lands on the rooftop)

Fubuki (looks at the sky): Oh it's here.

Ichiban (runs to the rooftop): I'll reach there first!

Watashi (tried to stop him): Hey, don't run around like a kid!

(All of them reached at the rooftop)

(The door of the plan automatically opens)

Fubuki (pats Ichiban and Watashi's shoulder): Let's go.

Ichiban (Smiles): Yeah! (He enters) I'm gonna look for the bladers!

Watashi (Enters the plane): Can you slow down a bit?

(Ichiban reaches the air deck and witnesses two bladers there)

Ichiban (Looks at the masked blader): Hey why do you have a mask on your face? (He laughs) It's funny it's the same design like your shirt.

??? (Looks at Ichiban): I'm the Demon King! (Takes out his bey) the owner of Oni Belial!

Ichiban: Demon King? (Smiles) You're really interesting!

Watashi (comes at the air deck): That's Ben Daikokuten.

Ichiban (touches his forehead with his finger): Never heard of him...

Watashi: He's already selected for the league, (crosses his hands) He even defeated ten bladers in a battle. (Smirks) He's worthy to take on Wendigo.

Ichiban: Defeated ten bladers..? That's insane!

Watashi (whispers at Inchiban's ears): He's very shy, that's why he wears a mask.

Ichiban (quietly): Oh I see... But who's the other guy?

Watashi: He's... Zeno Syagrios, owner of Zeus.

Zeno (while sitting on the bench): (Waves at them)

Ben (While holding Belial): Enough chit-chatting! Is none of you gonna challenge the demon?

Ichiban: Yeah I'm fir-

Watashi (Takes out his launcher): You bet! I'm gonna burst Belial in a single strike!

Ichiban: Hey! I was the one who was asking!!

Ben (points at Watashi): I'm gonna battle that huge guy, let's see who'll get burst in a single strike.

Ichiban (makes a desperate look): Awww.. Come on..

(Both of them reaches the stadium and took their shoot stance)

Fubuki (enters the air deck): They're already having a battle..?

Ichiban: I guess I'll the ref.

Watashi: (Belial has rubber on it's blade... I need to be careful or else it will drain Wendigo's stamina..)

(Ben switches Belial to upper mode, Nexa disc to free spin mode and removes the V-gear from the driver)

Ben (takes his launching stance): I hope you won't run away after your defeat.

Watashi (sighs): You talk a lot don't ya?

Ichiban: First Battle! Ready, Set!

Watashi/Ben: 3! 2!

Watashi: 1! (Catches the launcher with his right hand)

Watashi/Ben: Go... Shoot!!

(Wendigo circles around the stadium and rides along the edge of the stadium)

Watashi: Let your inner devil awaken! Wendigo!

Ben: Venture Flash!

(Belial rides the edge of the stadium and lands a fierce blow on Wendigo, which makes it take the center)

Watashi (Gasps): Not bad at all...

Ben (covers himself with his cape): Venture Shoot!

(Belial lands barrage of attacks, striking from every direction)

Watashi: God's Warning!

(Wendigo's blades shines and creates a armor around the blade)

Ben: Let's finish this! Oni Bomber!!

(Belial lits up and lands a explosive slash attack on Wendigo creating smokes around the stadium)

Watashi (Gasps): I can't see anything!

(A bey bursts in the smoke and drops on the ground.... it was Wendigo)

Ichiban: Oni Belial... Burst finish! Ben Daikokuten wins...

Fubuki: (You've still got a long way to go... Watashi)

Watashi (Grabs Wendigo): It can't be...

Zeno (makes a camera gesture at Ben): Demon King... huh?

Ben (laughs): It's not like you're weak... I'm just way stronger!

Ichiban (Smiles): Hey, Demon King! It's my turn now!

Ben: Heh, You all can battle me anytime, I can do this all day!

Watashi: Belial's attacks are more stronger than Icarus, You've got no chance against him.

Ben (looks at Ichiban): Yup, You got a chance of running away, You're out of my league (laughs)

Ichiban (switches to lower mode): Then I won't let him attack!

(Icarus lits up)

Watashi: Fine then, First Battle!

Zeno (comes closer to the stadium): I guess I'll take a closer look this time.

Watashi: Ready, Set!

Ichiban/Ben: 3! 2! 1!

Ichiban/Ben: Go... Shoot!!

Ichiban: Go! Amaze Strike!!

(Icarus leans on it's driver, which makes the metal portion touch the stadium generating sparks and gaining speed, it head towards Belial)

Ben (covers himself with his cape): Venture Shoot!

(Belial and Icarus collides at the center, creating a havoc on the stadium).

Ichiban: Send it flying!

(Icarus sends Belial flying and keeps on attacking it, not letting Belial land on the stadium)

Ben: (Gasps)

Ichiban (unleashed his aura): Icarus!

(Icarus appears, slashing the white aura with his claws)

Ichiban ('s hand shines with a white glow as he makes a fist): Aviate Slash!!

(Icarus's blades lit up and lands a devastating blow on Belial, which makes it burst instantly)

Ben: ....

Icarus: Alright!!

Watashi (Looks at Ichiban with a serious look): (How did he pulled this off....?)

Zeno (makes a camera gesture and looks at Ichiban): Looks like that tiny spark took all my attention (smiles)

Ben: (begans to laugh idiotically)

Icarus (looks at him): What's the matter?

Ben: Looks like you're worthy for this!


(Ben switches Belial to lower mode, switches the nexa disc to fixed mode and adds the V-gear on the driver)

Ben (shows Belial to Ichiban): The real battle starts now!

Ichiban (shows Icarus to Ben): I'm ready when you are!

He's a shy guy, but doesn't act like one, so I guess he has some kind of Scopophobia / Scoptophobia (the fear of being watched or stared at) (also, idk if you did this character).

 Anyways, Nice chapter.

I tried to pull a Ken situation (where he uses to talk with his puppets, in Ben's case he's like that when he wears a mask). But will be a completely different guy when the mask is off.

And I'm trying to slowly evolve my writing style, So that's why it was better. (I don't actually write, I use a notepad so you can say I write digitally).

More like a mix between Ken and the other guy from Cho-Z that had Kerbeus. Anyways, I've seen some changes (the good type of changes) (obviously, not drastically changes, which you decide if its good or not)
